JEE Main 2014 was held in two modes that is Pen & Paper Based Test and Online Mode
- JEE Main 2014 in Pen & Paper Mode was held on April 6, 2014
- JEE Main 2014 Computer Based Test was held across India on April 9,11, 12 & 19, 2014.
JEE Main Result 2014 on May 3, 2014
- JEE Main Result 2014 held on April 6, 9, 11, 12 & 19 would be declared on May 3, 2014 at 10 a.m.
- JEE Main 2014 Result would be available at www.jeemain.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in
- JEE Main Result/ Score will be declared on May 3, 2014 and shall comprise the actual marks obtained in Paper-I of JEE (Main) – 2014 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2014
- JEE Main Rank will declared on July 7, 2014 . JEE Main Rank 2014 would be calculated on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-2014 and normalised score in Class 12 or equivalent
qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively), for admission to B.E./B. Tech. and B. Arch/ B. Planning (in institutions other than IITs). - Only the All India Rank (AIR) is used for admissions through Central Counselling Board to
NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/SFIs/Others, while other ranks are for information purposes. - Candidate has to download the JEE Main Result 2014 / Score Card and JEE Main Rank from the website and no candidate would be sent the JEE Main score card/ JEE Main rank card by post.
How to Check JEE Main Result 2014
- To Check the JEE Main Result/ Score the candidate has to Either Enter JEE Main 2014 Application Number & Password or JEE Main 2014 Roll Number & Date of Birth
- Qualifying for JEE Advanced: The status whether the student has qualified for JEE advanced would be clearly written on the Score Card.
- The Student has to Download the JEE Main Score Card Online and no separate JEE Main Score card would be sent by post.
- The Downloaded JEE Main Score Card will be valid for admission to various institutes in CSAB and for all other colleges who would be taking admission on the basis of JEE Main Score.
- JEE Main name wise list would be published according to the JEE Main Roll Numbers and students can accordingly check the details.
Answer Keys of JEE Main 2014- April 25-27, 2014
The answer keys and images of response sheets (OMR sheets) of Pen & Paper Based examination and Computer based examination will be displayed on the www.jeemain.nic.in website during April 25-27, 2014.
Verify Your Marks for Class 12 on JEE Main Website >> Update your academic Details of Class 12 or equivalent
- The marks of Class 12th /equivalent qualifying examination will be displayed on the website of JEE (Main) during the second week of June 2014.
- The candidates have to verify these marks and confirm it on the website
Uploading the Revised Mark List of Class 12 or Equivalent
- In case of change in qualifying examination marks due to re-totaling/verification/result revision, the candidate should ensure to upload the copy of the revised mark-sheet online only latest by June 25, 2014 on JEE (Main) website.
- The revised mark-sheet will not be accepted after 25th June 2014 for whatsoever reason
