GCET 2018 Application Form - Application Started!

GCET 2018 Application Form is available for download on this page and the last date for submission of the application form with late fee is 28 April 2018. Candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Professional Degree courses during the academic session 2018-2019 are required to fill a GCET Application Form whose last date of submission is 7 April 2018. GCET 2018 Application form is filled for only B.Tech, B.Pharm, Allied Health Sciences and B.Sc Nursing Courses. GCET is Common Entrance Test which is conducted by (DTE Goa) Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa, for admissions to the First Year of Professional Degree courses in the State of Goa. The candidates have to fill GCET Application Form by downloading it on an A4 size paper. The candidate should fill the application form in their own handwriting. The photograph that is pasted on the application form should not be more than 3 months old. The link to download the application form is given below

Payment of the Application Fee

The application fee is Rs.1800 and it has to be paid via Demand Draft. The Demand Draft should be in favour of Director of Technical Education. The candidates filling the application form after 7 April 2018 need to make the payment of late fee Rs.1500.

The demand draft should be drawn in favour of "Director of Technical Education" payable at Panaji - Goa on any scheduled bank. The candidates should also need to know that the validity of the Demand Draft is at least 3 months from the date of issue.

Documents to be attached with GCET Application Form A

• Self-attested photocopy of SSCE Passing Certificate
• Self-attested photocopy of Class 12 passing certificate or Class 12/ HSSC Exam Hall Ticket.
• GCET application form B has to be submitted after the declaration of GCET Result. The candidate has to submit only one application form even if they are applying to multiple courses.
• Candidates intending to take admission in B.Arch course has to fill GCET Application Form B1

• Two passport size photos
• Statement of marks/Certificate/Provisional Certificate of passing HSSC
• Birth Certificate from Competent Authority.
• Certificate of residence from Mamlatdar / bonafide certificate from school
• Documents for relaxation in the period of residence, if any
• Leaving/Transfer Certificate from school or college last attended
• Eligibility Certificate from Goa University (for applicants other than Goa Board)
• Caste Certificates
• Income Certificate (For Tuition Fee Waiver)
• Candidate Copy of GCET Admit Card
• Acknowledgement card with photograph
• NATA Scorecard (For B.Arch)
• Copy of NEET Admit Card (For MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BAMS)

Submission of GCET 2018 Application Form

Candidates have to submit the GCET 2018 Application Form personally before the due date, at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa and other notified locations, and obtain the Acknowledgement Card, with registration number, as proof of submission of the form. GCET 2018 Application Form will not be accepted by post or through messenger.

• In person submission: The applicant has to submit the application form in person at the notified Application Reception Centre as per centre opted, along with a DD of Rs. 1800 payable in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji, and three identical photographs.Candidates can obtain the GCET photo Admit card from the Admission Committee, on the same day. 
• Submission of Application with Late fee: Candidates can submit an application with late fee of Rs. 1500 till 27 April 2018. Candidates will get the admit card from the test centre itself after submitting the application form along with three identical passport size photographs and the following 2 documents.

Important Points Related to GCET Application Form

• The candidates should enter the code for the subject given in the prospectus correctly while filling the application form
• The candidates if filled more than one application form for a particular course. The last application submitted will be considered acceptable. 
• There is the separate application form for each course. Therefore, the candidates should fill the application form according to the course they are opting for.
• Candidates have to download, print and submit the GCET application form (Form A), at the Test Centre opted along with application fee.
