VIT University B.Design Admission 2018 - The candidates willing to get admission in Vellore Institute of Technology are suggested to fill the online application form.The last date to apply online is 28 February 2018. Candidate can seek admission in Vellore Institute of Technology for Bachelor in Design by qualifying the entrance examination namely VITEEE. About VITEEE
VITEEE is a common exam for the admission in various engineering, Design and other UG courses. It is a computer-based exam which is conducted yearly to see admission in Vellore Institute of Technology for its Vellore and Chennai Campus
Age: The candidate who is born on or after 1 July 1996 is eligible to apply for VITEEE-2018.
Citizenship: The applicant should be a Resident, Non-Resident Indian National. PIO and OCI holder are also eligible to apply for VITEEE - 2018. (Foreign Candidates studied/ studying in abroad can apply directly through foreign category only).

Educational Details: Candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Maths/ Biology (including practical examination) combined together.

The submission of application form depends on the medium of application form filling is selected by the candidate. If the candidate has selected registered online, he or she need not send any application form or documents further to the institute. However if the candidate chooses the offline mode (OMR Application Form), then he or she has to send the application form in the self-addressed envelope provided by the VIT.
The candidate can download the VIT University B.Design Admit Card right before the exam. The link to download the admit card is given below. The applicants should keep in mind that the admit card will not be dispatched to any students so no correspondence in this regard will be considered. Candidate needs to preserve the admit card even after the exam for future communication.
Candidate can submit the fees either through online or offline. In online mode, a candidate can choose a Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking as a medium of payment while in offline mode, the candidate has to pay via Demand Draft.

VIT B.Design Result will be declared on or before 25 April 2018. The candidates who are appearing in the exam on the scheduled date will only be able to check result. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for counselling sessions which will be conducted in different slots.
The candidate will have to reach the venue with his or her original documents at the time of counselling. Only limited admission to B.Design will be placed through VITEEE ranking. Get more details about the result here.

VITEEE 2018 would be a Computer Based Test. The Question paper will only be in The English Language. There will be all objective type questions. There will be no Negative Marking

The question paper will contain a total of 80 questions distributed among the 6 topics provided in the syllabus. There is also a negative marking for all three sections.
