Age: No limitation in age
Academic Qualification: The candidates seeking admission to this discipline should be having at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and in the Master’s Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce, Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification.

The candidates were allowed to fill the application form for admission in BEd course until 11 August 2017 for the batch starting from January 2018. The registration for the same has ended now. Supposedly, the registration for the January 2019 batch is likely to start from August 2018.

The candidates after filling the application form will be required to submit the form in order to complete the application process. The candidate has to submit only the filled-in application form with all attested documents as mentioned in the Entrance cum Admission Form at the concerned Regional Centre. The complete list of the regional centre is given towards the end of this page.
Candidate will be sent the admit card by the university at their communication address via post as well. In case, if any candidate does not receive his or her admit card by post, he or she can download it from the website to appear in the entrance examination.
The admit card will be available 10 days earlier from the date of examination. Please carry admit card with us at the time of entering the examination hall. It is also an important document to keep until the admission process.
The application fee for IGNOU B.Ed. is Rs.1000 on the counter (excluding bank charges) and Rs.1050 if a candidate applies via post. The candidate has to submit the filled-in application form to the concerned Regional Centre.

The courses fee is Rs. 50,000 only for IGNOU B.Ed. which will be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated Candidate need s to write his or her name along with the courses he or she seeks admission on the back on Demand Draft.
IGNOU BEd 2018 Scorecard indicating qualifying/ non-qualifying status in the entrance test would be dispatched to all the candidates who appear for the examination. Those who have qualifying status will have to submit their program fee Rs.50,000 by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU, payable at the city where Regional Centre is situated.
NOTE: In case any candidate does not receive the Scorecard, he may approach the Regional Director, IGNOU of his Region.
Mode of Exam: Written (OMR Sheet using HB Pencil)
Type and number of questions: Multiple choice questions and 100 Questions. Each question is of one mark.
Language of the exam: English and Hindi
Duration of the examination: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
Subjects and Syllabus: The examination is divided into two sections, Part A and Part B. Candidate has to attempt all question in Part A and anyone subject in Part B. The detail chart is given below.
