AP POLYCET 2018 or Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2018 is a state level entrance exam conducted by State Board of Education and Training, Vijayawada. Candidates who are looking for admission into engineering and non-engineering diploma courses can apply for new batches. AP POLYCET 2018 ranks allow candidates to take admission in Government, Aided, Private, Un-aided Polytechnics, Second shift Polytechnics run in existing Private Un-aided Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. AP POLYCET 2018 is not purposed to use for admission in diplomas like Hotel Management & Catering Technology, D. Pharmacy, and 10+2 or 12th standard. Based on performance in written exam, the candidates will be shortlisted to call for AP POLYCET 2018 web counselling.

Followings are the criteria for the candidates to appear in the AP POLYCET 2018
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian National.
Domicile: Candidates must have the domicile of Andhra Pradesh State.
Age: There is no age limit to appear in the examination.
Academic Eligibility
AP POLYCET Application Process has started from 14 March 2018. The candidates can fill the form by following the link given below on this page. The last date to fill the AP POLYCET 2018 Application Form was 14 April 2018. Hence, the candidates are suggested to fill the form on or before the due date.
The submission of the AP POLYCET Application Form can be done after paying the application fee. The payment of fee can be done either depositing the fee at Helpline/ Aponline Centre or through online mode. Candidates need not send documents or application to the authority. However, it is advised to print out the hall ticket after submission of the form. More details regarding the same are given below.
AP POLYCET Hall Ticket was generated online after the application process was completed by the candidates. During last days of filling the form, it may be difficult and the candidates may face trouble to generate the Admit card immediately due to heavy rush. Therefore, the candidates are advised to either fill the form as early as possible or visit the centre after 2 or 3 days if admit card will not generate immediately.
The application fee for the AP POLYCET 2018 is Rs.350 which is common for all the categories. The candidates would have to make the payment through online mode i.e. Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or by Demand Draft.

NOTE: The fee structure for Government, Aided, Private, Un-Aided Polytechnics including second shift polytechnic are under revision. However, the fee chargeable in all Polytechnics shall be as fixed by the Government and applicable at the time of admission.
After the exam, the AP POLYCET Result has been declared on 8 May 2018. The candidates can check the result by providing necessary details. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for the counselling process in which the candidates would be invited to choose the colleges and courses.
After the declaration of the result, the counselling dates for the AP POLYCET will be declared by the authority. The candidates are suggested to keep themselves updated on this page. The process of AP POLYCET counselling is likely to start from the last week of June 2018. Candidates are then invited and allowed to choose the colleges and courses which will also depend on their preferences and rank obtained in the entrance exam.
The syllabus of Polycet 2018 will be the same as that of SSC examination for the same year. There is the total of 120 questions to be answered. All questions are of multiple choices and have four answers noted to choose the appropriate answer. Each question carries 1 mark.
