VIT Bhopal BTech Admissions 2018

VIT Bhopal BTech Admissions 2018 are done on the basis of candidates' performance in VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam). The application forms are available from 1 November 2018, forms can be filled both in online and offline mode. VIT University conducts this entrance exam for admission to engineering aspirants in their B.Tech Programme. After successfully performing in the entrance exam based on the merit list, the candidates will be offered different campuses and VIT Bhopal is one of them. There are four streams offered in VIT Bhopal BTech Admissions 2018:

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
• Mechanical Engineering (BME)
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

VIT Bhopal BTech Admissions 2018 Dates

The application form for VITEEE has been released. The schedule for the Engineering Entrance Exam is as given below.

About VIT Bhopal

VIT Bhopal is established in 2017 and the first batch will pass out in 2021. But as its parent University VIT Vellore, it also has also the facilities.  VIT Bhopal campus is located on Bhopal-Indore highway, 60 km away from Bhopal city. The campus has the following features:

• Separate hostel for girls and boys.
• Each hostel is managed and maintained by hostel supervisors, wardens, and Chief.
• The girls and boys hostel is divided into two blocks.
• There are five separate messes for each hostel.
• Student committees are in place to monitor food quality and other amenities.

The admission to VIT Bhopal is on the basis of VITEEE so the eligibility criteria will also be the same, candidates need to fulfil certain academic criteria, age criteria etc which have been summed up below. Interested candidates can go through the given VITEEE 2018 eligibility criteria before filling the application forms and only the eligible candidates can fill the application form.

Age: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1^st July 1996 are eligible to apply.

Nationality: The applicant should be a resident or non- resident Indian National.

• Candidates who are studying or have studied in Foreign can apply through foreign category only.

 Academic Qualification: Candidates appearing for VITEEE should have secured an aggregate of 60 % in PCM or PCB at 10+2 level from any state board, ICSE or CBSE.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and those from the North – Eastern states are given relaxation of 5 % so they need to score only 50 % aggregate marks.
• The candidates can be a passed out or appearing in 10+2 in 2018 can also apply.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
• General Certificate Education (G C E) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) candidates can also apply.

B.Tech Admissions in VIT Bhopal will be based on VITEEE so the candidates have to fill VITEEE 2018 application form. Application forms are available in online as well as offline mode. Here we are giving the procedure of filling the online application form. The process will be completed in some steps. The steps are given below.

• STEP 1- Registration: First of all candidates need to get themselves registered by providing their relevant details, email id, and mobile number. All the further communications will be done through the registered email and number.

• STEP 2- Fill Online Application Form: Provide all the necessary details. An application number will be generated after submission.
• STEP 3- Application Fee payment:  Candidates can fill the application fee using online mode through Net banking / Credit / Debit card. NRI candidates can pay the application fee by using online mode through credit card.
• STEP 4- Upload Photo and Signature

For Online Applicants:  if the payment has been made online, then there is no need to send any document to the university. If Demand Draft is used for making the payment, then the DD should be sent either by registered post or speed post on or before March 2018.

VIT Bhopal BTech 2018 (VITEEE Admit Card)

The VITEEE admit card will be available after the successful completion of the Application process. The admit cards will be released by the end of March 2018. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official site and the link to download the admit card will also be available on this page.

VITEEE Slot Booking: The slot booking for VITEEE 2018 will be opened tentatively in the third week of March 2018 where candidates will have to book a slot on the date and time of their convenience. VITEEE 2018 slot booking will be on a first come first serve basis and has to be completed before candidates can download their admit card. Slot booking of VITEEE 2018 is on a real-time basis.

The result is declared on 27 April 2018 after the successful conduction of exams for all the candidates who will appear for the exam. After the written exam candidates who have passed the exam will get shortlisted for the counselling round. The score for the exam will be calculated using equating methodology.

VIT Bhopal Counselling 

Candidates who appeared for the written exam will be shortlisted for the counselling round based on their written exam score. Counselling schedule will be sent to shortlisted candidates through SMS and also be displayed on the website.
