NLU Jodhpur was established by National Law University Jodhpur, Act 1999, passed by the state of Rajasthan. National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur is a Law school that offers degree programs for Law courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as for MBA. Candidates need to know that the admission to NLU Jodhpur is on the basis of their score/rank in Common Law Application Test (CLAT 2018). CLAT entrance examination is conducted for admission to 18 of the coveted National Law Schools, NLU Jodhpur is one of them. The admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses is offered to the candidates on the basis of their CLAT score. So, to get the admission in these UG and PG courses first of all the candidates need to register for the CLAT Exam.
The application process will be complete in the following steps
STEP 1 – Registration: The first step will be registration in which candidates need to provide their valid email id for further communication.
STEP 2 – Filling of online application form:
STEP 3 – Application fee submission: The candidate will then proceed to the “Payment of the Application Fee” section where fee can be submitted either online or through Challan. Candidates can submit the application fee of Rs. 4000 (unreserved/ OBC/ SAP category candidates) and Rs. 3500 (SC/ST category candidates) through net banking, debit card/credit card.
There is no offline process for submission of Application form. The application form will be submitted only in online mode. There is no need to send the application form or any other document to the university. However, it is advised to candidates that they take a printout of duly filled application form/ confirmation page for future reference.
The application fees for the candidates will be the CLAT entrance application form fees. The fee structure for CLAT 2018 is given below:

The result will be based on their performance in the CLAT exam. On the basis of the score/merit list candidates will be allowed for the further process. After qualifying the exam, candidates will be called for the counselling process. Here they can select NLU Jodhpur as their preferred University. After this, the counselling result will be out based on their score and candidates will get to know that they got their preferred college or not.
In NLU Jodhpur 15 seats are reserved in BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) courses for NLRI/NRI Sponsored candidates. These candidates need to apply for CLAT exam as a NRI / NRI sponsored candidate and they will be offered admission on the basis of their merit list in CLAT exam. In case of NRI/ NRI Sponsored candidate, annual fee shall be Rs. 7, 00,000.
