NPCIL Recruitment through GATE 2018 Dates

The concerned dates for NPCIL recruitment will be same as for the GATE 2018, as the selection is based on their GATE scores. The application form for GATE 2018 was available from 1 September 2017 and the exam will be held in February 2018

The interested candidates should first check the eligibility criteria. For filling the online Application form, they need to fulfill the following criteria;

Academic Eligibility - Candidates must have a full-time BE/ B. Tech. Or 4 years B. Sc. (Engineering) / 5 years integrated ME/ M. Tech with a minimum of 60 % marks in the disciplines mentioned above from a Deemed University recognised by AICTE.

Qualifying entrance exam- Candidate must have a valid GATE score in the same discipline as the qualifying degree discipline. Candidates whose result are awaited or are appearing for the final year/semester are also eligible.

Age: There is an upper age limit of 26 years for General category candidates. Whereas there will be some age relaxation for other category candidates.

Apply for GATE 2018 - To apply for GATE the candidates have to visit GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). The candidates who seek NPCIL Recruitment, Admission or/and Financial Assistance to Masters/ Doctoral program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture and relevant branches of Science must qualify in GATE 2018. Apply for NPCIL Recruitment after the declaration of GATE scores- The interested and eligible candidates can apply through online registration link given on this page using their GATE score For the application process candidates should also check their eligibility and then apply through the official website of NPCIL. Candidates need to follow these four steps to fill their online application form, the last date for the submission of form is 18 April 2018.

STEP 1: The candidate has to register by following the given link.  GATE registration number and providing other details like Discipline, Name, Date of Birth, Category, Email, Mobile number, PWD details and other exemption details will be required for registration. On successful completion of this stage, activation link is sent to applicant’s email.

STEP 2:  Now candidates need to activate their account using the activation link sent on email.

STEP 3: After getting activated account candidates can login using their id and password. Educational Qualifications, Work Experience, choice of Written/Online Test centre in case a test is being conducted for the post etc. Now the candidates can go to the other step after submitting the following information-

• Educational Qualifications
• Post Qualification Work Experience, if any
• Personal Details
• Upload Photo & Signature
• Submit Application

STEP 4: The last step is the submission of Application fees.

Payment of Application Fee for NPCIL Recruitment for ET-2018

The application fee for NPCIL Recruitment for Executive Trainees has to be submitted online through State Bank Collect (The fee payment link will be updated here when the applications will start). The State Bank Collect facility can also be operated through the official SBI Website;

• Select the State Bank Collect option
• Click Check Box & Proceed
• Select State as Maharashtra and type of Corporate/Institution as others, others name as NPCIL and Submit.
• Select Payment Category as Recruitment of Executives Trainees.

It is to be noted that the fee is applicable only to the male candidates belonging to General/OBC categories which is Rs. 500 and others don’t need to pay the application fee.

Application Submission

Candidates have to submit the application form ONLINE Only. There is no need to send the print out of online application form or any other document to NPCIL. However, candidates are advised to keep a printout of ‘Online Application Form’ safely as it will be required at the time of interview. 

NPCIL Recruitment Application Fee:  

The first level of selection for NPCIL Recruitment through GATE for Executive Trainees (ET-2018) will be based on the candidate's performance in GATE 2018.For getting selected candidates first need to be appeared for GATE 2017 or 2018 and having the valid GATE scores in them. And the candidate should be from either of the following disciplines;  

Shortlisted applicants will be informed through email and SMS about the availability of the ‘Interview Call Letter’ online on the website. The time and venue of the interview will be available in the ‘Interview Call Letter’. They can log in through the 'Applicant’s Login' and print the same. It is mandatory to carry the Interview call letter print out at the time of interview. The candidates will be shortlisted for the interview round based on their GATE score. After the interview, the final selection list will be displayed.

Documents required at the time of NPCIL Executive Trainees Recruitment Interview

At the time of the interview candidates need to report with the following documents-

• One clear printout of the Interview Call Letter where the photograph of the candidate should be visible.
• Photo identity proof of PAN Card/Driving License/AADHAR Card/Voter ID/College ID/Government issued ID to secure entry into Anushaktinagar premises for the interview.
• Clear print out of the online Application form.
• One set of self – attested copies having educational qualification certificates, caste certificate, experience, proof of date of birth etc.
• Originals of all these documents should also be carried by the candidates.

As mentioned before, NPCIL Recruitment for Executive Trainees (ET-2018) will be based on GATE score, therefore the candidates must go through GATE exam pattern. GATE 2018 will be a three hours exam of multiple choice questions. 

• Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
• Total Questions: 65 Questions
• Type of Question: Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
• Total Marks: 100 marks 
• Negative marking: Yes, 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
• Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 or 2 marks
