MPP (Master of Public Policy) Application Process:
Candidates have to appear in the Policy Aptitude Test (PAT) to get admission in the MPP course of NLSIU Bangalore. The application form for PAT examination can be filled through both online and offline mode. Both the application links are mentioned on this page. Online Process: The application form can be filled through online mode. Candidates have to create their login ID & password through signup. After successful login, they can fill the application form. The application fee also can be paid through online mode.
Offline Process: Candidates can also download the application form for the offline process. Candidates have to fill the download application form and have to send it to the following address along with the demand draft of application fees. The demand draft has to be drawn in the favour of Registrar, National Law School of India University payable at Bangalore.

The selection of candidates in B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) The degree programme is purely on merit as assessed through a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by the CLAT Committee constituted for the purpose.
Those candidates who want to get admission in MPP (Master of Public Policy) course have to participate in Policy Aptitude Test (PAT) that will be conducted by the Institute itself. After the Policy Aptitude Test, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is an all India law entrance exam conducted on rotation by 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India for admissions to their undergraduate and postgraduate law degree programmes (LL.B. & LL.M.). The Policy Aptitude Test (PAT) will be conducted in four centres such as Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai for admission in MPP (Master in Public Policy) course of NLSIU. The PAT exam will be conducted in two parts. First part will be in the multiple-choice format with negative marking and the second part will be descriptive analytical writing about a policy issue. Only those who obtain the minimum of 40% of marks in the first part will be evaluated for the second part. Both the first & second part is mentioned below:
Both parts together, Policy Aptitude Test carries 150 marks. The total duration of Policy Aptitude Test will be 2 hours.
The NLSIU offers various scholarships for undergraduate courses to attract meritorious students from the lower socio-economic strata of society. The main objective behind this scholarship schemes is that no one who secures admission to NLSIU shall discontinue studies on account of financial constraints.
