PGCET 2018 Karnataka – Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admission to MBA, MCA, ME, M Tech, M.Arch courses for the academic session 2018-19. PGCET Karnataka is a gateway to admission in the courses offered by government and private institutions located in Karnataka state. The candidates wishing to appear in the PGCET Karnataka 2018 - KEA must ensure that they are eligible to apply. The candidates who have successfully submitted the PGCET application form will be able to download their Karnataka PGCET Admit Card 2018 by 12 July 2018 for the entrance examination which will be conducted 14 and 15 July 2018. PGCET 2018 is conducted for the admission to the 1st year/1st semester full time/part time MBA/MCA/M.E./M.Tech./M. Arch courses and for admission to 2nd year Lateral Entry to MCA Course in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka which will be notified by the Government of Karnataka for the year 2018-19. The candidates who are passed bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of 3 years duration in any subjects including language in each year with minimum 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) are eligible to apply for Full-time MBA admission through PGCET 2018 Karnataka.
The candidates who are passed bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of 3 years duration in any stream including language in each year with minimum 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) are eligible to apply for Full-time MBA admission through PGCET 2018 Karnataka. The candidate who wants to apply for admission in part-time MBA program must work for not less than three years as on 31 July 2018 after obtaining the degree.
There are No Part Time courses offered for MBA. The candidates passed in graduation or equivalent examination with Computer Science or Computer Programming or Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with not less than 50% (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) marks are eligible to apply for MCA admission through PGCET 2018 Karnataka.
The candidates wish to apply for M.E. / M. Tech / M. Arch admission through PGCET 2018 exam must have passed in qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed with minimum 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates).

The eligible candidates who wish to get admission in their desired program through PGCET 2018 Karnataka have to first submit an application form. The PGCET 2018 application form can be filled only through online mode on the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority at (kea.kar.nic.in) and the candidates can also fill and submit the application form on this page. To submit the online application form, the candidates have to follow the instructions given below:
The candidates wish to get admission in their desired program through PGCET exam will have to first submit an application form through online mode only. After filling the application form and making payment of application fee, the candidates have to take a print out of it and obtain the Principal seal and signature and send it via post. The last date for the submission of the application form is 1st week of June 2018.
The candidates who have applied successfully to appear in the PGCET 2018 Karnataka exam will only be able to download the PGCET 2018 Karnataka Admit card. The candidates can download their admit card from the last week of June 2018. To download PGCET 2018 Karnataka Admit card, the candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth.

The candidates are selected for admission to their program on the basis of their scores obtained in PGCET 2018 Karnataka entrance exam. Based on performance in PGCET 2018 exam, the examination conducting body KEA will announce the result in the 3rd week of August 2018. The candidates who have successfully submitted an online application form will have to appear in the PGCET entrance test which is scheduled to be held in the 1st week of July 2018. On the basis of PGCET 2018 Karnataka result, conducting body KEA will conduct counselling process for admission in the programs the candidates applied for. KEA will announce the names of the selected candidates for counselling through a merit list which will be seen by following the link given below.
