NICMAR Admission 2018 - Last Date Extended

NICMAR Admission 2018 will be based on the scores of NCAT/CAT/GATE/GMAT/CMAT examination. Candidates who want to get admission in NICMAR must appear in NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT). The advertisement for NICMAR Admission 2019 is going to be published on 16 September 2018. NICMAR offers various Post Graduate Programmes in the field of finance, development, and economic management.

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) has been formed as a nonprofit organization. The main objective of these programmes is to develop the students to understand the potential in the management of infrastructure projects covering the life cycle view of projects and management of infrastructure systems efficiently, using technical and management techniques.

The eligibility criteria vary as per the programmes in NICMAR. The candidates seeking admission should check their eligibility before filling up the application form. The candidates are suggested to go through the table below to get the eligibility for each programme.

Eligibility for NICMAR Admission

Given below is the eligibility criteria for NICMAR admission under various programmes

Note: Candidates pursuing PGP MFOCB are required to provide necessary documents and undertaking in the prescribed format regarding ownership of construction business. 

Interested candidates who want to get admission in various programmes of NICMAR are required to appear in NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT) which will be conducted from 21 January 2019.

To participate in this entrance test, candidates have to fill the application form that can be filled either through online or offline mode. Candidates can click on the following links to fill the online application form or download it.

Candidates can obtain the programme brochures and application form for all the programmes from the NICMAR Pune by paying the application fee through the demand draft. Those candidates, who purchased the Application Form direct from the NICMAR Pune by paying the application fee, NO need to pay any application fee further.

Steps to fill the NICMAR Online Application Form

• STEP 1: Registration: Candidates must click on "Register Here" button and proceed to the Initial Information page. Candidates have to fill their general details correctly on the page displayed and click on the “Submit” button to register. A confirmation page will be displayed after the successful registration.
• STEP 2: Account Activation: After successful registration, candidates will receive an email on their registered email ID with their Login details and a link for Account Activation. Candidates are required to click on the link to activate their account.
• STEP 3: Filling up the application form: After registration and account activation, the candidates need to fill up the application form by providing the following details:
  • Programme Details: Candidates have to fill their programme related information in the application form such as programme centres and test centres.
  • Personal Information: Candidates have to fill in their personal details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Contact Address, etc.
  • Academic Details: Candidates have to fill their educational detail such as Name of Board/ University, Percentage of Marks, etc.
  • Work Experience: Candidates can fill any work experience such as Full-Time Work Experience, Internship, Apprenticeship, Articleship, etc. in the given section if any.
  • Additional Information: Candidates can fill the additional information such as require hostel accommodation, apply under management quota, etc.
• STEP 4: Upload Documents: Once the candidates are done with filling up the application form, they then have to upload the required documents in the application form. 
• STEP 5: Make the payment: After uploading the documents, the candidates have to make the payment of the application fee. After paying the fee, the candidates should take the printout of payment transaction receipt for future reference.
• STEP 6: Final Submission: After filling the application form, candidates have to pay the registration fee and click on the ‘Submit’ to submit the application form. Candidates should check the filled application form before final submission because they cannot make any correction in the application form once it submitted.

Payment of Application Fee

The NICMAR Application Fee can be submitted through the both online & offline mode. Both the modes of Fee payment are described below:

• Online Mode: The NICMAR Application Fee can be submitted through the Citrus Payment Gateway/ Billdesk Payment Gateway/ Net banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
• Offline Mode: The NICMAR Application Fee also can be submitted through the offline mode. Candidates must create a correct amount of demand draft in the favour of "NICMAR, Pune" and need to send it with filled application form & required documents at the following address:

Submission of Application Form

The application form of NICMAR can be submitted through both online and offline mode. The both online & offline processes are described below:

Online Mode: The NICMAR application form can be submitted through online mode. Candidates should check the filled application form before final submission, any changes in the application form can’t be possible once application form submitted.

Offline Mode: The NICMAR application form also can be submitted through the offline mode. Candidates have to send the filled application form with the required documents through the Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier to the following address:

Application Fee

NICMAR Fee Structure 2018

The range of hostel facility would range between Rs.3600 to Rs.5500 per month. The hostel charges will be applicable according to the hostel.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. The merit list is drawn on the basis of performance in NCAT/CAT/GATE/GMAT/CMAT, PI and RA. Admission offer letters are issued in the order of merit. The selection committee will measure & examine all applications and documents submitted by the candidates and will make the selection list.

Marks to be scored for NICMAR Admission

The admission into the NICMAR will be done based on NCAT/CAT/GATE/GMAT/CMAT scores. Hence, the subject and marks distribution for each is given in the table below

According to NICMAR, the placement record of their students is near 100% every year including the overseas placements. On an average, around 15-20% of the students secure overseas placements.
