Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi Commercial Pilot License Course is for the students who want to pursue their career in aviation. Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) offers 18 months (may get extended) course for Commercial Pilot License which is also famous as CPL. Ab-initio to Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) coupled with Instrument and Multi-Engine Endorsement along with an option for BSc (Aviation) degree. Students can become a qualified pilot through Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi Commercial Pilot License Course. The candidates who are passed in English at Class 12 level examination with Minimum 55% (50% for SC, ST and OBC) Aggregate Marks in subjects Maths and Physics are eligible to apply.

Age Limit: The candidates belong to any category should not be over 17 years old at the time of joining the IGRUA Commercial Pilot License Course.

Eligibility for General Category candidates: The General Category candidates must be passed in English at 10+2 level examination with Minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in subjects Maths and Physics.

Eligibility for SC/ST/OBC Category Candidates: The SC/ST/OBC Category candidates must be passed in English at 10+2 level examination with Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks in subjects Maths and Physics.

Things to keep ready before filling up the IGRUA Application Form 2018

The candidates are advised to keep ready the following document before filling the online application form:

• Scanned image of Recent Coloured Photograph of candidate
• Scanned Signature of a candidate (file size of 80KB (maximum) in JPEG format only)

Steps to Fill the IGRUA 2018 Application Form

• STEP 1: The candidates first have to register themselves on the official website of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi by following the link given on this page. To register they need to provide their name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.
• STEP 2: The candidates after registration will receive login id and password, which they have to use to log in.
• STEP 3: The candidates after login have to fill the application form. They have to provide all required details asked in the application form such as basic personal details, educational details, address, contact details, selection of exam city etc.
• STEP 4: Once done with filling up the application form, the candidates then have to upload the scanned copy of their recent coloured passport size photograph and scanned copy of their signature.
• STEP 5: At last the candidates have to make the payment of the application fee and submit the filled in application form.

Payment of IGRUA 2018 Application Fee

• Online Payment: The candidates want to make payment using online mode can make payment through credit card, debit card or internet banking.
• Offline Payment: The candidates want to make payment using offline mode can pay through Bank Challan. Challan Payment can be made only at any branches of SBI bank.
  

Submission of Application Form

The candidates after filling up the application form need to submit the same in order to complete the application process. Before the final submission of the application form, the candidates are suggested to check the details filled by them are correct in all aspect. Once satisfied, the candidates should submit the application form. The candidates will receive an email and SMS on their registered email ID and their registered mobile number regarding successful submission of application form.

IGRUA Admit Card (CPL) 2018: Commercial Pilot Entrance Exam

IGRUA  Admit Card will be available for download from 5 May 2018, and the candidates can download their IGRUA Admit Card by logging in. IGRUA Admit card will be served as a valid identity for appearing in the online entrance exam and personal interview. The IGRUA Admit Card should be preserved till joining the course.

The candidates applying to join the IGRUA Commercial Pilot License Course will have to make payment of the application fee as per the details mentioned below:

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi CPL Commercial Pilot License Course Fee

The candidates who offered seats on the basis of their overall performance will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) by the second week of July 2018 to secure the seat offered him/her. The candidates joining the IGRUA Commercial Pilot License Course have to pay the program fee as under:

The candidates will be selected for admission in Commercial Pilot License Course at IGRUA on the basis of their overall performance in Online Entrance Test, Educational Qualification, Personal Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test.

• STEP 1: First, the candidates have to appear in the Online Entrance Test which is scheduled to be held on 12 May 2018.
• STEP 2: The candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test which will be conducted at IGRUA. The candidates belonging to SC and ST category will be provided 2nd class rail ticket to appear in the Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test.
• STEP 3: The candidates have to appear in the Pilot Aptitude Test/ Psychometric Test. Candidates who will successfully pass the Pilot Aptitude Test/ Psychometric Test will qualify for final selection.
• STEP 4: The candidates who offered seats on the basis of their overall performance will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) to secure the seat offered him/ her.

Documents to be submitted at the time of IGRUA CPL Interview

The candidates shortlisted for Interview will have to bring the following documents in original copy as well as 1 photocopy of each:

• Proof of Date of Birth (For example - Class 10 certificate)
• 10+2 Mark sheet
• A Certificate from the Competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer
• Admit Card Downloaded for Written Test
• Class 10 Mark sheet
• Caste Certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates

The candidates who have submitted an online application form for admission in the program Commercial Pilot License at IGRUA will have to first appear in an online entrance test which will be based on the following pattern:

• Question Type: Objective Type
• Negative Marking: No
• Script of the exam: English
• Subjects: General English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (+2 level)

Total 150 seats available in the CPL program at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA). Reservation norms apply as per the rules of government of India.

Note - In the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates do not qualify after 5% relaxation in the entrance online test, the vacant seat will be offered to the qualified General Category candidates.
