CSKHPKV Palampur Admission 2018- HP Krishi Vishvavidyalaya - Registration Started!

CSKHPKV Palampur application forms for undergraduate and postgraduate courses are available now. Entrance exam for BVSc & AH and BSc (Hons.) Agriculture will be conducted on 9 June 2018 and for Masters program on 17 June 2018. The candidates willing to take admission in the CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya Palampur need to fill the application form online by 15 May 2018. Admissions for 15% All India Seats will be based on NEET 2018.

CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur is a leading hill Agricultural University of India. The main objective of CSKHPKV Palampur is in making provisions for imparting education in agriculture and other allied branches of learning and scholarship which University may find necessary to include. There are four Constituent Colleges of CSKHPKV Palampur that offer both the UG as well as PG level courses.

The eligibility criteria for the admission in the CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya Palampur for the courses B.VSc & AH and B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture is different. CSKHPKV Eligibility Criteria for B.V.Sc. & A.H Course

• The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with 50% marks for General/OBC category (47.5% for SC/ST/DA category) in the aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology (as a core course).

OR

• Any examination equivalent to 10+2 level with 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from a University/Education Board/College/School in a foreign country recognised by the University.

CSKHPKV Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture

• The candidates must have passed Class 12 with 50% marks for General/OBC category (40% for SC/ ST/ DA category) in aggregate of PCB/ PCM/ PCA/ Intermediate (Agriculture)/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Mathematics and Agriculture

OR

• Any examination of a University/ Education Board/ College/ School in a foreign country recognised as equivalent for the purpose by the University with good knowledge of English

The candidate must have passed their graduation at least 60% marks for General/OBC categories (50% for SC/ST categories) from a University established by law in India,

The candidates applying for the admission into undergraduate and master programmes will have to fill the online application form. The application process has started on 12 April 2018 and the candidates can fill the application form on or before 15 May 2018.

However, the NRI/ Foreign National candidates have to apply through offline mode and the last date to apply for them is 16 July 2018.

Steps to Apply for CSKHPKV Palampur

The steps to fill the application form for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses are given below to guide the candidates in filling the application form. The candidates filing the application form should follow the steps mentioned below to fill the application form correctly without any error.

• STEP 1- Registration: The candidates first need to register themselves on the official website of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya Palampur by entering their general details like Name of the candidate, DOB, Mobile Number, E-mail Address etc. by following the link given on this page.
• STEP 2- Filling up the application form: After registering themselves, the Application number, Login Id, and Password will be generated on the window and the candidates will have to note down all these information to proceed further to fill the application form.
  • Candidate Information: In this section of filling the application form, the candidates have to fill their information by filling the required details asked.
  • Upload Photograph and Signature: After filling up the candidates’ detail, the candidates have to upload their photograph and signature in the correct file format and size.
  • Profile Confirmation: The candidates need to confirm their profile which indicates that the information filled by the candidates are correct in all aspect.
• STEP 3- Payment and Submission: The candidates after furnishing all the details have to pay the application fee. The candidates have to make the payment of the application fee only once through online mode which is Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The candidates after paying the application fee have to submit the application form at last.

Payment of the CSKHPKV Application Fee

• The candidates who have filled the application form have to pay the application fee through SBI Collect in which the candidates have to fill the details of the application form such as

  • Details of the candidate
• After filling up the details in the SBI collect, the candidates will get the option to make the payment of the application fee through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking

Submission of the Application Form

The candidates filling up the application form are advised to check the details filled by them in the application form are correct and then make the final submission as the once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form.

After filling up the application form and submitting it successfully, the candidates have to take the printouts of the application form and keep it safe for the future use. The candidates should furnish the correct details in the application form.

The application fee which should be paid as per the different category. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their Application fee. The fee has to be paid through online mode only by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

For Bachelor's Program: The marks of all the candidates appearing in the Entrance Test and the list of candidates to be called for counselling will be declared by the University and displayed on the Notice Board of Administrative Block of the University and will also be placed on the University Website.

For Master's Program: Based on the marks of all the candidates appearing in the Entrance test and marks obtained in the Qualifying examination, the candidates will be called for the counselling.

The counselling will be held as per the schedule that is given on this page. No separate letter will be issued for counselling. Percentage of marks in qualifying examination, entrance test/ weighted score will be considered up to second place of decimal.

• In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the entrance test in B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programmes, then merit will be decided on the basis of performance in 10+2/ equivalent examination with advantage to the candidate getting a higher percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics/ Agriculture.
• In case, the percentage of marks as mentioned above is also equal, the candidate who is older in age will be placed higher in merit than the one who is younger.
