BHU BAMS, BNYS Admissions 2018 is based on NEET scores. The candidate who appeared in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) are eligible for admission in BAMS and BNYS course at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Earlier BHU conducted his own entrance test known as BHU PAT for admission into BAMS, B. Pharm and BNYS course. Banaras Hindu University is one of the most prestigious central universities in the country. The Ayurvedic Education in Banaras Hindu University was started in the year 1920 in the section of the Ayurvedic under the Faculty of Oriental Learning and Theology. Age: The minimum age requirement of the candidate is 17 years, and the maximum age requirement of the candidate is 25 years as on 31 July 2018 to be eligible for the entrance test.
Nationality: Indian national
Academic Qualification: The candidates who have passed the Intermediate Science or Pre-Medical Course/ 12 years 10+2 examination or equivalent examination of recognised Indian University or Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible.
The admission into BHU BAMS, BNYS will be based on NEET 2018 scores. So the candidate is advised to appear in NEET. The application process has already started for NEET. However, the separate application process for admission into BHU will be updated once the information will be available. The previous year information is given below. It will be updated once new information will be available.

The steps and the instructions to fill the application form is provided to the candidates. The candidates are suggested to follow the steps given below which will help them to ignore the mistakes and error while filling the form. The candidates can fill the application form in two simple steps.
STEP 1 - Registration and Form Filling
First of all, the candidates have to register themselves through the link given above by providing the valid email id. After that, the candidates have to follow the instructions given by the web page for filling the online application form
STEP 2 - Payment and Submission
After filling the application form correctly, the candidates need to make the payment of the application fee. To make the payment, the candidates are advised to follow the guidelines and instructions given on the web page. After payment of the application fee, the candidates need to submit the application form.
The candidates do have two options to make the payment of the BHU application fee. The two of the methods are described below. The candidates need to pay the application fee only once.
Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form
After the successful submission of the application form, the candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.
BHU Application Fee- The candidates need to pay the application fee against the BHU application form. The fee amount for the different categories is given in the table below. Candidates are informed this information is based on last year data, this year information will be updated once available.

For BAMS there is no course fee, the students have to pay the university fee and exam fee.

The Banaras Hindu University, Institute of Medical Science admission will be based on NEET scores from this year. Earlier BHU PAT was the entrance exam for admission into Pre Ayurvedic Courses. So candidate seeking admission into BHU BAMS, BNYS has to appear in National Eligibility Entrance Test this year. Candidates will be selected in order of merit on the basis of the aggregate marks secured at the NEET 2018. The minimum qualifying marks will be different which will be based on the category wise.
The selected candidates shall be required to appear personally to the Admission Committee for counselling/ interview. The decision of the university for selecting the candidates will be final, and no objection will be contemplated under any circumstances
There are total 60 seats reserved for BAMS course and 30 seats are reserved for the BNYS as per the approval of the Central Council of Indian Medicine and AYUSH Department. The distribution of the seats as per the category for each course is given in the table below.
In Case of OBC-NCL seats remain vacant, they will be filled by the General candidates.

Physically Challenged Candidates
The Physically Challenged (PC) candidates who will qualify in BHU entrance exam will have to get themselves certified at one of the following Disability Assessment Boards constituted at four metro cities.
