IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2018 - Application Starts!

IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2018 is now open for the academic year 2018-20 in the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. IIIT Allahabad MBA and Dual Degree MBA-PhD admission are based on a valid CAT Score. The candidates with a valid score card of the CAT Exam and have completed their graduation degree are eligible to take admission at IIIT Allahabad. Interested candidates can fill their IIIT Allahabad Application Form till 14 March 2018. IIIT Allahabad provides 2 years full-time MBA program and 4 years full-time MBA-PhD Program. IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2018 will be completely done on the basis of Merit of the candidates.

About IIIT Allahabad: IIIT or Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad was established in the year 1999 and in the year 2000 it was given the status of a Deemed University. IIIT Allahabad is a 100-acre campus located at Deoghat, Jhalwa. The Institute was established with the objectives of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower in IT and other related fields. IIIT Allahabad MBA Dates 2018

Educational Qualification:  The Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree from any authorised college or Institute in India with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA and a valid CAT Score.

The applicants who are in their final year of their graduation or the candidates appearing in the final qualifying examinations and expecting their results latest by 1 July 2018 may also apply for the MBA in IIIT Allahabad.

Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored Candidates

The sponsored candidates who have secured minimum 50% marks in their qualifying examination are eligible to apply for admission in MBA or dual degree program MBA-PH.D. 

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals/NRI

The foreign nationals or the NRI applying for the admissions must have a valid score card for the CAT/GMAT Exam. 5% of the total seats have been reserved for the foreign national candidates for admission in any of both the courses.

IIIT Allahabad Application Form can only be filled online by the candidates who fulfil the Eligibility criteria as mentioned above. The candidates are advised to read the Information brochure carefully before filling the Application form. STEP 1: Register by following the given link: First, the candidates have to register themselves to fill the online application form. The candidates can register thereby providing some basic detail such as; name, email, password, mobile number, country name and gender. Thereafter they have to click register button for next process. Now a confirmation message will be sent to the email address of the candidates and the candidates have to activate their account by following the link given there.

STEP 2: Fill the Application Form: First, the candidates have to upload their latest passport size colour photograph. Now the candidates have to fill all required details such as personal details, program applying for, preferred centres for GD/PI, contact details, qualifying exam details, details of educational qualification, payment details, work experience details (if have) and then the candidates have to click register button for the next page.

Step 3: Payment of the Application Fee: The candidates have to make payment during filling the application form. The candidates can make payment through internet banking, debit card, credit card and demand draft.  To make payment of the application fee, the candidates have to enter the DD number or transaction ID number, date of DD or transaction and bank & branch details.

Step 4: Review & Creation of New Account: Now the candidates have to review the details they have filled in the application form. After reviewing the details, the candidates have to click for next step. Now the candidates have to click on creating a new account and have to submit their application form online. Thereafter the confirmation page will appear on the screen and the candidates have to save it and take a printout of it for sending it via post.

Documents to be enclosed with the Application form:

The candidates have to send the self-attested copy of the following documents along with the printout of their completed application form:

• Date of birth certificate or High school certificate with DOB 
• SC/ST/OBC/PD/DPD certificate (If applicable)
• CAT/GMAT score
• Marks/Grade sheet
• Medical Examination report
• Sponsorship certificate/recommendation letter (for sponsored candidates)
• 3 letters of reference (for GMAT qualified and sponsored candidates)

IIIT Allahabad MBA/ MBA-PhD Application Submission

The application form will be submitted in online mode only. candidates don't need to submit the hard copy of their application. Before the final submission, candidates should check all the details filled in the application form. Candidates should take a print out of the filled in application form and keep it safe till the admission process gets over.

The candidates who will choose to live in the hostel will be charged Hostel Rent, Mess Fee & some other charges. 

First, the candidates will be shortlisted for PI on the basis of their CAT score, academic qualification, and work experience. The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview (PI) at the centre selected by the candidates during filling the application form. The candidate is selected for admission to their desired program on the basis of CAT score personal interview (PI) and the final selection made on the basis of following weightage system:

Selection Process for Sponsored Candidates: Sponsored candidates are selected for admission in MBA/ MBA-PhD program at IIIT Allahabad on the basis of following weightage system:

• Marks in qualifying examination- 60%
• Total Experience- 30%
• Personal interview- 20%

The sponsored candidates having more than 5-year of experience will be given extra 30 marks which will play a role of decider in case of a tie.
