Odisha Engineering Admission 2018 in IIT Bhubaneswar & NIT Rourkela is done on the basis of JoSAA counselling. Seat Allotment Result for Round 1 of OJEE counselling has been released on 2 July 2018. The candidates who will secure JEE Main rank in Paper 1 & Paper 2 or in JEE advance are eligible to apply for JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. Apart from IITs & NITs, there are many colleges in Odisha that offer engineering program and give admission in their Engineering program on the basis of OJEE Counselling & JEE Main and lateral entry. Odisha Engineering Admission 2018 process will start with the JEE Main application form filling and the candidates can apply until 1 January 2018 for JEE Mains. The candidates seeking admission in B. OJEE Counselling Result for Round 1 of Seat Allotment has released on 2 July 2018. Candidates can log in using the link provided below. Candidates have to select the course, enter the log-in ID and password and verification code and a rank card will be shown. Selected candidates now have to go for document verification in allotted centres from 5 to 11 July 2018. The seat allotment result for round 2 is scheduled to be declared on 13 July 2018.

OJEE Counselling: OJEE Counselling is for admission to B.Tech, BHMS, BAMS, B.Pharm and many other UG and PG courses. The candidates have to register to participate in OJEE 2018 counselling. The counselling for B.Tech would be on the basis of JEE Score secured by the candidate.
JoSAA Counselling: JoSAA Counselling is a common counselling for admission to IITs, ISM Dhanbad, IIEST Shibpur, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and GFTIs. Registration for JoSAA Counselling will begin soon after JEE Exam. Only students who will secure JEE Main Rank in Paper 1 or Paper 2 or JEE Advanced are eligible for the JoSAA Counselling.

The candidates can apply for OJEE Counselling only through online on the official website of OJEE and also here by clicking the link given below. OJEE Counselling process will be done in the following steps:
The counselling process will start after the JEE Mains exam and the candidates will be able to register online and apply for the admission to the course of their choice through OJEE Counselling. The steps for the OJEE Counselling is given below.
STEP 1: Online Registration
To participate in the counselling process for admission in admission in Odisha Engineering colleges, the candidates shortlisted by OJEE and the candidates qualified in national level entrance examination have to register themselves by clicking the link given here or on the official website of OJEE. The candidates will have to provide their personal details, educational details, and contact details during the registration process.
STEP 2: Online Choice Filling
Now the candidates have to select the name of the college and course in which they wish to join and have to arrange the name of their choice college in the order of priority i.e. 1st choice and 2nd best 2nd choice and it goes on.
STEP 3: Reporting at Nodal Center
After successful registration and online course & college choice filling, all the candidates will have to go to preferred designated Nodal Centre for verification of required documents, payment of fees and choice locking. Whole process reporting at Nadal center is divided into the few more steps which are given following:
STEP 4: Temporary Seat Allotment
The candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of rank and seat choice locked by the candidates. Allotment of the seats will be declared on the official website of OJEE and the candidates will also be informed via SMS.
STEP 5: Withdrawal Process
In case the candidates want to withdraw their counseling they can visit the Nodal Centre where they visited to verify their documents and can approach for withdrawing within a specified time of limit In the withdrawal process, they can collect an account payee cheque from their deposited university registration fee of Rs 5000 by filling up a withdrawal form.
STEP 6: Final Allotment
After withdrawal process, an auto up-gradation will be carried out among all the remaining candidates and the final allotment list of the candidates will be available on the website. Now the candidates selected for admission in the colleges allotted by OJEE can download their respective individual final allotment letters and have to report at the College that has been finally allotted within notified working days from the publication of the result.
