SP Jain PGDM Admissions 2018

SP Jain PGDM Admissions 2018 has started for the PGDM/MBA  programmes for both Indian and Foreign Nationals for the 2018-20 session. SP Jain Institute of Management and Research accepts admissions of the graduate candidates on the basis of CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT scores to the Post-Graduation Management Programme which is equivalent to the 2 years full-time MBA in India. The last date to apply for the SP Jain PGDM Admissions 2018 is 24 November 2017.

About SPJIMR: SPJIMR was inaugurated in 1981 by the British Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Margaret Thatcher.It is a part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and more than 1,000 students are enrolled to SPJIMR. It offers following management courses:

Age: There is no age limitation for the PGDM programme.

Educational Qualification:  Applicants applying for the SP Jain PGDM Admissions 2018 must have a valid bachelor's degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks. The Bachelor's degree awarded to the candidate must be recognised by the Association of Indian universities.

• Applicants must have completed their graduation in (10+2+3/4) pattern followed by the Indian education system. Bachelor's degree of applicants must be of minimum 3 years graduation course.

Institutional Qualification: College/Institute/University from where applicants have completed their graduation must possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Human resource and Development. M(HRD).

Undergraduates: Final year candidates can also apply for the SP Jain PGDM Admissions 2018. In that case, applicants must provide the provisional certificate from the Principal/ Registrar of his/ her institute/ college stating that he/ she has appeared for all the exams and has completed all the obligations required to obtain the degree. 

• Work Experience:  Work experience is not mandatory for any candidate. Applicants with minimum no work experience to applicants with 5 years of work experience can apply for the admissions. Proof of work experience such as offer letter, salary slips and the experience letter will have to be provided.

STEP 1: The candidates have to register on the website of SPJIMR. After registering, the candidates will have the login details to log in.

STEP 2: Upload the photograph: Photos should be in JPG, JPEG, PNG format, and dimensions of the photograph should be 200 pixels tall and 150 pixels wide. Size should not be more than 500 kb.

STEP 3: Fill the application form by giving the required details such as Personal details, Contact details, Programme details, Academic details, Work experience, Entrance exam details, Profile information and accept the terms and conditions.

STEP 4: After filling out the required information, applicants have to save and submit the application form before proceeding to

Payment of Application fee: Applicants can pay the SP Jain Application Fee Online only. After filling up the application form successfully applicants can pay the application fee via online modes given below

Application Submission 

Submit the SPJIMR PGDM Course Application form along with the admission fee online. The candidates are suggested to take print out of the application form for future reference.

The fee structure given below was followed for the session of 2018-20. This fee includes tuition fee, basic hostel/ accommodation and global fast track for the students enrolled in SP Jain PGDM Course. 

The SP Jain PGDM Admissions 2018 Selection process will be a 3 stages selection procedure where applicants will be shortlisted as per their profiles and marks scored in the qualifying exams after which applicants will be sorted into two groups: Profile-Based and Profile cum score based. Each of the candidates has to go through the 3 stages of selection given below:

• Interviews
• Second Phase Shortlists
• Selection List

Stage 1: SP Jain Interviews (Profile Based)

Applicants shortlisted as per their applications and profile will be invited for the Early Interview process where they will be considered and shortlisted on the given below factors:

• Consistency of academic record
• Relevance of work experience for the specialisation
• Versatility & achievements

Stage 2: Second Phase Shortlists (Profile cum Score Based)

The second phase shortlisting will be carried on the basis of the qualifying exam scores, which will be conducted after the result of CAT/XAT/GMAT Qualifying exams. APplicantd can check below the cut off of the scores of the relevant tests

Stage 3: Selection List

The selection list of the merit students will be prepared which is based on a composite score, which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT), the relevance of work experience (if any) and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.

There will be no specific exam for the admissions to SPJIMR, however, the admissions will be based on the entrance exams followed by the normalization procedure of each of the exam. Applicants can check the exam pattern and syllabus of the CAT/XAT/GMAT.

SP Jain PGDM Placements

PGDM placements at SPJIMR are conducted for two sessions one  for the internship of the enrolled students and Final Placement for the final year students:

• Autumn Internships (Aug- Oct every year)
• Final Placements (after graduation)

For each of the above processes three steps are adopted for the students:

• Applications from SPJIMR students and shortlists
• Group discussions and interviews
• Job offers and acceptances
