XLRI Jamshedpur PGDM Admission 2018 for full-time PGDM courses will be based on XAT 2018 and GMAT scores.  XLRI or Xavier’s School of Management offers Full-time residential programs, Fellow programmes, and Executive Programs. This page provides the details of the full-time Management Programmes that is PGDM-HRM and PGDM BM. XLRI Jamshedpur offers the following full-time residential programs:

• PGDM-HRM: PGDM-HRM is a full time two years Postgraduate Programme in Human Resource Human Management.
• PGDM BM: PGDM BM is a two-year full-time Postgraduate programme in Business Management.
• PGDM GMP: It is a 15-month General Management Programme for the executives with experience of five or more years.
• FPM: FPM is a four-year Fellow Programme in Management.

Academic Qualification

• The candidates must have completed their three years of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline, recognised by a University or Deemed University.
• The candidates completing their final examination by June 2018 are eligible to apply.

Qualifying Entrance Exam

• The valid XAT scores for the Indian students and GMAT scores are applicable for the NRI candidates.

XLRI PGDM Application form can only be filled online by the candidates. The candidates can apply for more than one programme. The candidates must read the information brochure carefully before filling the application form. Candidates applying for the XLRI PGDM programme must carry the XAT score.

Important Instructions for filling XLRI PGDM Application Form

The candidates can fill their application form by following any of the two ways:

• Through XAT: The candidates can login by entering their XAT credentials and fill the XLRI application form.
• Through GMAT: The candidates can also login with their GMAT login id and number and fill the XLRI application Form.

The application fees for the XAT and GMAT are different. The fee has to be paid through online mode only that is Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The Application fee once paid by the candidates is non-refundable. The candidates can also check the Annual Course Fee given below.

XLRI PGDM Application Fees

• The Annual Fee of PGDM-HRM & PGDM BM is Rs 10 Lakh per annum.

XLRI Jamshedpur PGDM admission 2018 will be based on XAT scores for the Indian students and GMAT scores for the NRI candidates. The candidates can apply for more than 1 programme while filling the application form and those who have applied for more than 1 programme may be called for multiple interviews/or group discussions.

• The selection criteria for different programmes may differ based on the nature of the programme. The candidates chosen on the basis of XAT written test will be based on the various components of XAT that will help to maximise the performance of the students in each of them.
• XLRI Jamshedpur offers admission to the PGDM courses to the shortlisted candidates according to their XAT scores and also on the basis of diverse factors such as academic background and the relevant work experience, extracurricular activities.

• XAT Exam Duration : 3 Hours 30 Mins from 10 a.m. to 1:35 p.m.
• Mode of Exam: Online Exam

XAT Exam will be divided into the two parts i.e. Part 1 and Part 2, Part 1 will contain the objective type question subdivided into the three parts i.e.  A, B, and C, whereas Part 2 will contain the GK and Essay sections.

XAT Exam Sectional Distribution

The XAT exam shall consist of the following sections:

Part 1

• English Language and Logical Reasoning (A)
• Decision Making (B)
• Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (C)

Part 2

• General Knowledge GK
• Essay

Negative Marking

All the questions will be of equal marks in all 3 sections If an answer of any question is incorrect 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Other than that 0.05 marks will be deducted if an applicant left the questions blank or unattempted. This condition will be applicable beyond 13 questions left blank or unattended.

XLRI Jamshedpur Scholarship

XLRI provides the following scholarships to the students of PGDM BM and PGDM-HRM as per the need to the economically backwards families:

• Aditya Birla Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to the students of HRM first year and BM first year. Three awards are provided with each worth Rs 1,75,000 per year.
• OP Jindal Engineering & Management: This Scholarship is provided to the students of HRM and BM second year students. One scholarship is offered with each worth Rs 1,50,000.
• T Thomas: This scholarship is provided to the second-year students of HRM and BM. One scholarship is provided worth Rs. 1,00,000.
• PMI Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the BM second year student. Three scholarship is given each worth Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000.
• Pirojsha Godrej: This scholarship is provided to the first year students of HRM and BM. One scholarship is worth Rs 25,000.
• Joseph M Sciortino: This scholarship is only for the second year ST students of HRM and BM. The amount of the scholarship is Rs 25,000.
• Geeta Saxena Memorial: The HRM and BM students get this award, and the scholarship amount is Rs 20,000.
• Kalyan Ganguly XEF Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the second year students of BM. This is a merit-cum-need scholarship each worth Rs 1,00,000.
• Naveen Jain & Distinguished Alumni Award: This scholarship is given to the second year students of HRM and BM. The value of scholarship is Rs 20,000
• Vasantha Sankaran Scholarship: This scholarship is given to the students of BM second year. Rs 1,00,000 is provided as the award amount.
• XLRI Alumni Scholarship: This scholarship is given to the second year students of HRM and BM. Four scholarship is given each worth Rs 1,50,000
• XLRI Diamond Jubilee (Seniors): This award is given to the second year students of HRM and BM. This is a merit-cum-need based scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs. 2,85,000.
• XLRI Diamond Jubilee (Juniors):  First-year students of HRM and BM are given this scholarship. This is a merit-cum-need based scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs. 2,55,000.
