CMAT 2019 - For the first time, National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the Common Management Admission Test in a computer-based mode only. CMAT is a National Level MBA Entrance Exam. Till now CMAT was conducted by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) for admissions to the MBA and PGDM programs. CMAT 2019 by NTA will be held on 28 January 2019, across various cities in India. CMAT score is accepted by all the Universities/ Institutes/ Constituent Colleges/ Affiliated Colleges which are approved by AICTE. CMAT Registration process will start from 1 November and the last date to fill CMAT Application Form will be 30 November 2018. National Testing Agency is a newly formed conducting authority that conducts various prominent entrance exams. In November 2017, the proposal of forming NTA was approved by Union Cabinet. From now onwards, NTA will relieve the exam conducting agencies like AICTE, CBSE etc. and the major exams like JEE, NEET, and CMAT etc. will be conducting by NTA only in computer-based mode.

CMAT Registration is a totally online process. Hence, the candidates who are willing to appear for CMAT need to fill the CMAT Registration through online mode only. CMAT Application process is completely ONLINE, the candidates will have to submit the CMAT application form in online mode only before 30 November 2018. Before submitting the application, the candidates are suggested to make sure that all the details filled by them in the application form are correct. They are also suggested to take printouts of the duly filled application form for future reference.
The candidates will have to select the CMAT 2019 test centre in the CMAT application form itself. CMAT slot booking shall be done by the student according to the convenience and ease of travel. Students should be careful while CMAT Slot booking as no change in is allowed after the application has been submitted. Candidates are hence advised to carefully analyse all the options during CMAT Slot booking and choose a slot that is the best for them.
CMAT Admit Card 2019 will be issued to the applicants only after the successful payment of the application fee. The candidates can download the CMAT Admit card from 7 January 2019 by following the link given below. After downloading the admit card, the candidates must check the certain things such as the name of the candidates, roll number, exam centre and date etc. The candidate won't be allowed to enter the examination hall without the CMAT Hall Ticket.
CMAT test will be conducted all over India. The number of test centres varies according to the number of candidates who have applied for the CMAT 2019. Applicants have to reach around 90 minutes before the commencement of the CMAT Exam.

The conducting authority, AICTE has not prescribed any defined syllabus for CMAT 2019. The candidates can go through the mock test which will be on the official website for getting familiar with the exam structure and type of questions. It will also help in analysing the CMAT Syllabus.
For better result in CMAT Exam, the candidates are advised to cover all the basic topics related to the different sections such as quantitative techniques & data interpretation, logical reasoning, general awareness, and language comprehension. 25 questions will be asked from each of the subjects.

According to CMAT Exam Pattern, there will be total 4 sections in the CMAT 2019 and each of the section will have 25 questions of 4 marks each. CMAT Exam will have a negative marking scheme as well. 1 mark will be deducted from the total for each of the wrongly answered questions by the candidates.

CMAT Result for the CMAT 2019 exam will be declared on 10 February 2019. The applicants can log in to the CMAT Portal by using their user ID and Password to check their result and scores in total and section wise.
The candidates have to be noted that the CMAT Result 2019 will be available in online mode only. AICTE will not send the result of any scorecard individually to the candidates. To check the CMAT Result, the candidates are suggested to click on the given link.
CMAT is not a common admission test hence there is no cut-off in CMAT exam. Hence the institutes set their own cut-off marks and give admission to the students on the basis of the percentile score. Candidates are hence advised to prepare the best they can and get admission in good management institutes. If a student scores better marks than the cut-off then s/he can easily get admission in the desired institute. The marks scored by a candidate will be the sole basis of admission in the institutes. The candidate will only have to score good marks in the CMAT 2019 exam and get admission in the institute that will give admission to him/her. There is no counselling that is conducted for CMAT. After the results are announced, candidates are required to apply in the desired institutes. The candidates can register for CMAT 2019 from 1 November 2018 onwards till 30 November 2018. The admission process of each institute will differ and include rounds such as Group discussion, personal interview etc.
Nationality: The candidates who are the citizen of India are eligible for the CMAT 2019 Exam.
Educational Qualification:
PwD Candidates: PwD (Person with Disabilities) category candidates with less than 40% disability, Visually Impaired, Hearing Impairment or dumb are eligible for CMAT 2019.
The candidate willing to give CMAT 2019 exam shall have to deposit CMAT Application fee before 30 November 2018. The CMAT Application Fee is to be paid before the last date in both the cases of online as well as offline payment.
