IMT Ghaziabad MBA Admission 2018 will be done on the basis of CAT, XAT, GMAT Score. The application process for the Institute of Management Technology (IMT Ghaziabad) for phase 2 has started. The candidates seeking admission into the IMT Ghaziabad to pursue MBA course are required to fill the application form. IMT Ghaziabad is located in NCR district of the fourth largest state of India i.e. Uttar Pradesh. It is an autonomous institution that offers the following two-year Management courses:

IMT Ghaziabad Admissions will be conducted for the 2018-20 batch in the given above MBA programs, a total number of seats available for the PGDM Admissions are as follows:

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the PGDM/MBA Courses from IMT Ghaziabad must hold a Bachelors Degree of 3+ years of graduation in any stream and must have scored minimum 50% marks in their graduation.

Undergraduates can also apply: Final year applicants can also apply for the PGDM/ MBA on one condition that they will have to submit their certificate of completion of graduation with minimum 50% marks in the academic program office of the IMT, else their admissions will be terminated.

Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have a valid score card and ID card of any of the exam given below:

• CAT 2017.
• XAT 2018.
• GMAT (taken between 1 January 2014 to 28 February 2018).

In case the applicant's GMAT Score is awaiting, their applications will be processed provisionally till they submit their GMAT Score before 15 March 2018. CMAT 2018 scores will only be accepted in IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad campuses only.

NRI/PIO/OCI/Foreign Nationals: These candidates may apply for DC PGDM on the basis of their GMAT Scores.

Applicants satisfying the above criteria will be considered for the admissions in IMT Ghaziabad.

IMT Ghaziabad Registration Process for the (Phase 2) has started from 8 January 2018. The candidates opting the MBA course in IMT institutes are suggested to fill the application form. The candidates applying for MBA from IMT must note that there is a common application form for all the IMTs. The candidates have to fill the application form giving their basic Personal and Educational Details and a minimum of two campus preference. The last date to fill the form is 21 January 2018.

Payment of the Application Fee

The candidates have to pay for the application form via Credit/ Debit/ Demand Draft etc. If payment is made through the demand draft, applicants have to furnish the details of the demand draft in the application form before submitting.

• Demand Draft: The candidates applying using the Demand Draft Payment mode have to register to draw a demand draft of Rs. 2,000 which is to be drawn in favour of “Institute of Management Technology” which is payable at the Ghaziabad or Delhi.   

Submission of the Application Form

The Mode of the submission of the IMT Ghaziabad Common application form is ONLINE. After the successful payment of the application forms, applicants have to print the confirmation page of the application form. The candidates have to paste their passport size self-attested photo to the tear-off sheet and send the demand draft along with it.  

IMT Ghaziabad Common Application Form Fees is Rs 2,000 for all the categories. So that any of the candidates filling the application form should pay the application fee to complete their registration.

IMT Ghaziabad Fee Refund: The candidates have to pay the course fees semester wise. The candidate, who has been provisionally admitted, may request for refund of the fee by submitting a written application to the Admissions Office at IMT Ghaziabad. The application must contain the IMT Application No, Name of the candidate, course name opted with the name of campus and application must be signed by the candidate.

Refund Policy for Full-Time PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad

IMT Ghaziabad Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT, XAT, GMAT Scores for the Next 3 Round process (CT-GE-PI) viz are;

• Critical Exercise (CT)
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)

List of the selected and shortlisted candidates will be declared by the IMT Ghaziabad in February 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by their Email IDs that they have given at the time of the registrations.

IMT Ghaziabad MBA Admission Selection Process

• Critical Thinking: After the shortlisting of the candidates, selected candidates will have to go through the 30-minute long Critical Thinking Test, which will evaluate the candidate on three parameters - critical thinking, written communication skills and innovation & creativity.
• Group Exercise: After CT Test, the candidates will be formed into small groups and will perform a Group Exercise. The group will be given a problem to solve or a task to perform, which they must do together with discussion among group members. For instance, they might be asked to do a short case study, solve a puzzle, or solve a business problem. This will take approximately 30 minutes and will evaluate the candidate on four parameters – the contribution of ideas, leadership potential, interpersonal skills, and communication & attitude.
• Personal Interview: After the Group Exercises, the candidate will go through the personal interview of approximately 15 minutes, during which he/she will be evaluated on four parameters: domain knowledge, communication skills, versatility (extra-curricular/general awareness), as well as values & maturity. Work Experience candidates will be additionally evaluated on the relevance of their work experience in relation to the PGDM program.

• While the registration process applicants can submit more than one scores of the qualifying exam, IMT will choose the best one among them automatically.
• IMT considers the aggregate scores and does not have separate sectional cut-offs when short-listing applicants for CT-GE-PI process
