TISSNET 2019 - Tata Institute of Social Science National Entrance Test (TISSNET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted for the MA admission. It is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Science to provide admission at TISS Mumbai, Guwahati campus, Hyderabad campus, Tujlapur campus, The Banyan Chennai, MHAT Chennai and G-SET, Ranchi. TISS offers around 55 Master Degree Programs. The campus wise list of TISS Courses is given below. The application form for TISSNET 2019 will be available from the fourth week of October 2018. TISS has its own National Eligibility Test (NET) which is a computer-based test to be conducted in around 39 Centres all over in India.
TISS MBA – TISS Mumbai has established School of Management and Labour Studies and it offers three MA programs for management. TISS do not provide any MBA Program but its MA Courses are considered equivalent to MBA. For placements to these programs in TISS, there are same companies that visit other MBA Schools and also provide similar placement packages to these students. The TISS Management Programs are:

Note: It is vital to note that CAT / MAT/ CET / GRE/ GMAT Scores are not accepted for TISS Admission.

The candidates will have to fill the TISSNET 2018 Application form in online mode. However, there is also a facility to submit the application form in offline mode for the candidates who belong to the remote areas. The candidates have the choice to apply for a maximum of 3 programs in two campuses in the same application form.
Steps to Apply for TISNET 2019
Step – 1: The candidates have to visit the official website and click on the link to apply for TISSNET 2019. Step – 2: After that, they will have to register by providing the email address.
Step – 3: Then, after login, they fill the application form by entering their basic details including personal, academic, program selection, centre, contact details etc.
Step – 4: Once filing up the details, they have to upload the required documents and then pay the required application fee.

TISSNET Admit Card will be available online and the candidates can download their TISNET Admit Card 2019 from the link given on this page (whenever it releases). The candidates can visit the official website to download the TISSNET Admit Card by entering their credentials. Those candidates who are not able to obtain their admit card can call on TISS CARE: 022 - 2552 5252 or they can also register their complaint by sending an email to pgadmission@tiss.edu.
TISSNET Admit Card is a very important document to be carried on the day of the TISSNET exam otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
TISSNET Result will be available online. The candidates who will successfully appear for TISSNET 2019 will be able to check their results by login to the website. There is only online mode available to check the result as the TISSNET Result 2019 will not be sent by the authority to the candidates via post. The minimum cut-off to qualify the exam is 45% for general and 35% for the reserved category candidates. The candidates will be able to check their result by entering their login credentials. After downloading the result it is advised to take the printouts for the further procedures.

About TISS: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a “Deemed University” established under Section-3 of the UGC Act 1956. The candidates who have completed their graduation can apply for TISSNET by filling a Common Application Form for all the courses and appear for the entrance test. The selection process is on the basis of qualifying marks secured by the candidates in the TISSNET, and the admission is based on the Merit List.
