XLRI VIL Admission 2017

XLRI VIL Admission 2017 is for 1 year Post Graduation Programs for working executives through Virtual Interactive Learning Mode. XLRI VIL Admission 2017 is open for Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management (PGCBM) and Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM). The two postgraduate programmes are conducted by XLRI, Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur.

XLRI has introduced Virtual Interactive Learning Programs in the year 2002. PGCBM and PGCHRM, the 12 Months academic programmes have been introduced by XLRI VIL to enable working executives to complete their management education while still being in service or at the same time being involved with any other preoccupations.

• XLRI VIL Admission to PGCBM and PGCHRM are for the working executives who have a work experience of 2 years. The last date to apply is 8 November 2017.
• The 1-year program includes 5 days of intensive learning at the XLRI Jamshedpur Campus. All the successful candidates will be awarded certificate by XLRI.

About PGCBM and PGCHRM Program in XLRI VIL

XLRIs Full Time Faculty delivers Live Lectures over a Unique High Definition Video Conference platform under Technical Collaboration with VCNow. This is a highly interactive technology and encourages a real classroom environment. The details of the two management programmes offered in XLRI are as follows:

Academic Qualification: The candidate must have completed graduation (in 10+2+3 format) or equivalent.

Work Experience: After completing the graduation, the candidate must have a minimum of 2 years work experience as on October 2017.

Mandatory Requirement for PGCBM and PGCHRM: Every candidate must have their own laptop and 3G net connect dongle throughout the entire programme for writing tests, assignments, corresponding with faculties, TA etc. However, the regular session (classes) would be held at the allotted study centres, the candidates will not be able to attend sessions on their laptops.

XLRI VIL Application process can only be filled through online mode by the applicants. There is a single application form for both the programmes. The last date to apply for the XLRI VIL PGCBM and PGCHRM is 8 November 2017. The applicant needs to fill all the mandatory information in the application form, such as personal details, educational background, work experience details, upload photographs etc.

XLRI VIL Application Fee Payment

• The applicants need to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs.2,000 after completing the application process. The candidate can make an online payment of the XLRI VIL Application Fees.
• On paying the application fees, the applicants are expected to fill in the online SOP (Statement of Purpose) with the help of their XSAT ID and password that will be sent to their mail id provided by them at the time of online registration.

Submission of the Application Form

The candidates need not send hard copy of the duly filled in XLRI VIL application form. They need to submit the application form through online mode only. The candidates are therefore suggested to fill every section of the application form correctly and submit the application form after inspecting the application form.

The candidates applying for the XLRI VIL for the PGCBM - 33 and PGCHRM - 25 have to pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 (non-refundable). The XLRI VIL Fee Structure is given in the table below.

The total course fee for both the Program is Rs 225,000 which has to be paid in 5 instalments, the amount and deadline for each instalment is given below:

The selection for admission to PGCBM and PGCHRM will be based on the Personal Interview that will be held through Video Conference.
