IIM Bangalore MBA Admission 2018 is done on the basis of CAT (Common Admission Test) which is scheduled to be conducted on 26 November 2018. IIM Bangalore MBA Admissions are invited for the academic year of 2018-20. IIM Bangalore was established in the year 1973 to provide quality education in the Management education. IIM Bangalore is one of the premier Business School in India. It is the third Indian Institute of Management after IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kolkata. IIM Bangalore accepts CAT scores for admission to the PGP, PGPPM and PGPEM. The candidates aiming for admission to the following IIM Bangalore courses need not apply separately.
Other Courses: IIM Bangalore also offers Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). There is a separate application process and mode of selection for these courses. For instance, admission to EPGP is done on GMAT Scores.
IIM Bangalore Eligibility Criteria for its various courses are given below:
Eligibility Criteria for Domestic Candidates : The domestic candidates are generally Indian Nationals or foreigners normally a resident of India who appeared Common Admission Test (CAT).
Eligibility Criteria for International candidates: The International candidates may be foreign Nationals or Indian Nationals residing outside India.
IIM Bangalore has no separate registration process. The candidates willing to get admission in the different management courses need to appear in CAT. The candidate needs to apply for CAT Registration Process and needs to score the required percentile in CAT exam. The CAT Registration Process will start from 9 August 2017.

IIM Bangalore PGP Registration for International Candidates
The International candidates appearing into PGP programme into IIM Bangalore need to apply separately. The Registration Process for the International Candidates has started December 2017.
The candidates need to appear in Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) on or before February 2018 and the GMAT Score should be valid as on June 2018.

Selection Process for International Candidates: The International candidates mostly reside outside India and are unable to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs at various centres at India, so they need to appear in Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).

The Admission to PGPPM course in both the categories that is Government/PSU Sponsored Participants and Non-Government/Open Participants will be made on the basis of their educational background and qualification.

Final selection for PGPEM admission will be based on the past academic performance, past work experience, diversity profile and performance in written analytical test and personal interview. The application submission of the PGPEM has been extended to 18 January 2018.
The following scholarships are given to the meritious students of IIM Bangalore:
Aditya Birla Scholarship: This is a merit-based scholarship given to the PGP students of both first year and second years. The student of the first year who receives this scholarship can apply for the renewal if they belong to top 25% of the batch in the first year. The amount of the scholarship is Rs 1.75 Lakh per student.
OPJEMS Scholarship: This is a merit based scholarship given by OP Jindal Group to the student of each academic year. The amount of Scholarship is Rs. 1.50 Lakh.
Citi Women's Leader Award: This is also a merit-based scholarship given to the selected candidates from the top 25% of the batch at the end of the first year. The nomination is done by the Institute and the students are selected on the basis of their statement of Purpose and subsequent interviews scheduled by Citi. A total amount of Rs. 4 Lakh is given per student.
Societe Generale Global Centre India Scholarship: This is a need-based scholarship that is given to the neediest student of the first year. This scholarship includes the total tuition expenses. The Institute nominates the students on the basis of their need and subsequent interviews are conducted by Societe Generale.
Siddhartha Padam Award: This is a merit-based scholarship for only 1 student of PGP who gets the best marks in the Finance Area. The amount of the scholarship is Rs. 50,000, a medallion and a certificate.
Bennet Scholarship: Two Scholarship are provided under Bennett Scholarship for the class entering PGP. Each Scholarship provides Rs. 3 Lakh, payable at two equal instalments.
IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch Scholarship: This scholarship is for the differently abled female student of PGP. If there are no female students then it is given to male students of PGP. The amount of the scholarship is Rs. 50,000, a medallion and a certificate.
Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholarship: This is a merit based scholarship. Every year five nominations are invited for the students of the second year and who are in the top 10% of the batch at the end of the first year studies. The amount of the scholarship is Rs 1 Lakh.
Hindustan Unilever/T Thomas Scholarship: This is a merit-based scholarship given by Hindustan Unilever to one student of PGP second year. The company selects the student among the grade list of the top 25% of the batch at the end of their first year. The amount of the scholarship is Rs 1 Lakh.
