NMAT 2018 is for admission to MBA and other management courses in Academic session 2018-20. National Management Aptitude Test is a national level MBA entrance exam which is conducted annually by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) for the students seeking admissions in the graduate management courses in eighteen leading B-Schools in the country.
NMAT by GMAC has unique features such as rescheduling and retaking of the examination for the convenience of the candidates rescheduling means candidates can reschedule their examination 72 hours prior to their original examination to avoid conflicts with their life events and if candidates are not satisfied with their examination they can opt for retaking option for up to 3 times including the original attempt.
Graduate Management Admission Council, the conducted body of NMAT has announced that this year there was a total 17 Percent increase in the number of applications received for NMAT. The candidates appearing in NMAT 2018 can schedule their exam according to preferable time slot, location, and date on the first come first serve basis after their successful registrations.
Age: There is no age limit for NMAT Exam, however, it is advisable for the candidates must refer to the eligibility criteria of the respective colleges.
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate. Candidates must refer to the respective institutes for detailed eligibility.
NOTE: There are specific eligibility criteria for each program in specific participating institutes; it is highly advisable for the candidates to go through the college's in-depth eligibility criteria for the specific program before applying for NMAT 2018 examination.

STEP 1: Register: Applicants have to register on the official website of NMAT. Create an account using a valid Email ID on which a verification code will be sent.
STEP 2: Fill the NMAT application form: Applicants have to enter their contact information, personal, educational and work experience, the list of programs to send scores, and the ID that you will use at the test centre. After furnishing all the details, the candidates have to agree to the terms and condition of the examination.
STEP 3: Give College and Course Preferences: The candidates have to give preference of College and program preferences. A maximum of 7 programs from the list, however, if the candidate wishes to add more programs other than these 7 he/she have to pay additional fees of Rs 200.
STEP 4: Now applicants have to upload a photograph that resembles the photograph on your primary ID. This photograph will be printed on the Admit card that candidate will be bringing
STEP 5: Candidates have to make a payment of Rs 1700 + Applicable taxes online.
STEP 6: After successfully completing the payment from any of the above-given modes, applicants can schedule their exam date, time and venue on their official NMAT 2018 dashboard.

NMAT Exam 2018 will be a computer-based online Multiple Choice question type examination of 2 hours of duration which is divided into the three sections that will be testing the Language, Quantities and Logical reasoning of the candidates. Applicants can take the test in total 3 attempts including no Shows. There will be a pool of total 120 Questions divided as follows:

The candidates have the option of retaking of the NMAT 2018 examinations after 15 days of the first attempt that means candidates can retake their NMAT Exam after 15 days up to maximum of 3 chances, if candidate is not satisfied by his/ her performance they can opt for the retaking of the examination by paying Rs 1700+ applicable taxes. Candidates can retake the examination after their first attempt. An option of retake examination will be activated on the dashboard of the candidate's account, he/she can opt for the retake of the examination by paying the applicable fees and no repeated registration is required for the same.
The candidate can opt for rescheduling of the exam 72 hours prior to the original examination by paying the rescheduling fees of Rs 1000+applicable taxes via credit card only 72 hours prior to the original exam. Candidates must note that there will be an option for rescheduling of the examination on their NMAT Account's dashboard.
The NMAT Exam 2018 will be conducted at 32 test centres across 24 cities in India. Some of the cities may have multiple test centres whose address and venue will be described on the candidate's roll number. The cities are as follows:
