Indian Army UES 27 - University Entry Scheme applications are invited from third year Engineering Students all across India. The application for Indian Army Recruitment through UES  has to be filled online. It is the university entry scheme for July 2018 Course for the students studying in the Pre-Final Year of their graduation i.e. 3^rd year for the grant of permanent commission in the army. There is no written exam for selection in the Indian Army UES.

Opening date of the Indian Army UES 27 applications is August 9, 2016. Interested candidates can fill in the application form for Indian army University entry scheme ONLINE before September 15, 2016, till 10:00 AM. 

This is the Indian Army Recruitment for Permanent Commission and the session will begin in July 2018. The selected candidates will get a training for 1 year in IMA.

First, the candidates will go through the selection process in the selected college which basically comprises Awareness Talk, A video Film on life in the army and then one on one interaction with the students to assess their interest, aptitude and skills. The selected candidates are recommended for SSB Interview.

The selected candidates will be on Short Service Commission or probation in the rank of Lieutenant (Lt.).from the date of their joining the final year class and will get a stipend of approx Rs. 21,000.However, the entire stipend will be paid in a lump sum only on reporting for training at IMA after completion of studies. On Joining IMA the candidate will be eligible for full pay and allowances and other benefits as admissible to regular officers.

Gender: Candidates should be UNMARRIED MALES.

Age: The candidate must be aged 18 to 24 years as on July 1, 2018. The date of Birth must fall from July 2, 1994, to July 1, 2000. 

Academic Qualification: The candidates must be in the third Year of their Engineering Degree course from a recognized college/University of India are eligible to apply.

All the applications from the candidates will be accepted online only through the Indian Army’s official website. No application submitted by any other mode will be entertained.

STEP 1: Click on ‘Officers Entry Apply/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’. Candidates have to fill the online registration form it is recommended to read the instructions carefully.

STEP 2: After the registration process, click on ‘Apply Online’. A page ‘Officers Selection - Eligibility’ will open. Then click ‘Apply’ shown against the University Entry Scheme. A page ‘Application Form’ will open

STEP 3: Click on Continue to fill details that are required under various columns. ,Communication details, Personal information, Education details and details of previous SSBs candidate have appeared in. Click on ‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next step.

STEP 4: After filling up the details in the last segment, Candidates will move to a page ‘Summary of your information’ where candidate have to check and edit their entries they have already made.

Submission of Indian Army UES 27 Application 

The application form has to be submitted online only. However, the candidates can take a printout of the duly filled application form for his future reference.  

• Stage 1: Screening of Applications 
• Stage 2: SSB Interview
• Stage 3: 1 year IMA Training

Army HQ reserves the right to shortlist applications. Initially the shortlisting of the candidates  will be done on the basis of a fix cut off Percentage of engineering stream-wise, for preliminary screening and then the next step will be the SSB Interview based on the aggregate percentage marks scored by the candidate in the first two years/four semesters of their respective engineering degree course.

During SSB the candidates are assessed for fitness, health and assessed psychologically.

If any Ambiguity or false information is found to be present in the documents of the applicant, his candidature will be cancelled.

• Training of the final selected cadets will be conducted in IMA, Dehradun for the duration of 1 Year.
