COMEDK Architecture Admission 2018

COMEDK Architecture Admission 2018 has started and the option to surrender seats allotted in COMEDK Counselling Round 1 is going to be available from 4 August till 6 August 2018. The candidates seeking admission in B.Arch course in the academic year 2018-19 in the colleges under COMEDK have to apply for the COMEDK counselling. Candidates need to fill a separate application form for the B. Arch Course. The application form for the B. Arch Counselling is available now. There is no separate entrance test for B.Arch Admission. The selection will be based on the candidate’s qualifying marks in NATA. Applicants are required to bookmark us using Ctrl+D to get the latest updates on COMEDK Architecture Admission 2018.

• COMEDK Architecture Admission will be merit-based. Last year architecture admission was offered in 25 affiliated colleges and the list of the architecture colleges is given on this page.
• COMEDK B.Arch counselling would be held in the offline mode.

Latest Update- Option of surrender of seats for B.Arch allotted in Round 1 of COMEDK Counselling 2018 to be available from 4 August 2018.

• There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course. Candidates seeking B. Arch course shall submit the separate application form.
• Qualify NATA Exam: The candidate seeking admission to B.Arch should have cleared NATA 2018 with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 for both General Merit and Category Candidates.
•  The candidate must have passed 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent Examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects OR

• 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC, ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka).

COMEDK Architecture Application Form 2018 can only be filled through online mode. For seeking admission into the BArch course, the candidates need to fill the separate application form. The application process may begin in the month of February 2018. Steps to Fill the COMEDK Architecture Application Form 2018

• Registration: Candidates need to register themselves through the official website of COMEDK website and select the new registration and register by using Name, DOB, email id, contact number.  
• Email Verification: After the successful registration by giving all the details mentioned above, the get will receive their user id and password in their respective email id. They will also get a link in which they need to login in order to fill the full Application Form.
• Personal Details and Educational Qualification: After the candidates follow the link in their email id they need to enter their personal details, contact details, address, as well as the academic qualification such as last passing marks in qualifying examination, total marks in qualifying exam, NATA scores etc.
• Upload Images and Document: The candidates need to upload the following images and documents in the online application form:
  • Photograph: Scanned copy of recent passport size photograph up to 80 KB in JPEG or JPG formats.
  • Father and Guardian Signature: Scanned signature of parents/guardian up to 80 KB in JPEG or JPG formats.
  • Date of Birth Certificate: Scanned copy of attested DOB certificate up to 150 KB only in PDF, JPG or JPEG format.
  • Qualifying mark card (12^th STD, 2^nd PUC, Diploma): Scanned copies of qualifying marks card up to 150 KB only in PDF, JPG/JPEG format.
  • NATA Score Card: Scanned copy of NATA Scorecard up to 150 KB and in PDF, JPEG or JPEG file format.
• Payment Details: The candidate must select the Online payment mode that is through credit card/debit card/net banking and also the select amount of Rs 1000.
• Declaration: The candidate will find some checkbox at the end of the page, they must tick that boxes for declaration.
• Submit: After filling all the details in the application form, the candidate must cross check the details before submitting the form because once the form is submitted no information can be edited.

Submission of the Application Form

After filling up the application form, the candidates have to submit the same through online mode only. The candidates do not have to submit the application form to any of the authority. However, the candidates are advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form for future reference.

COMEDK Architecture admission merit list 2018 for B.Arch will be based on the aggregate marks of the qualifying exam and score of NATA examination. The seats will be allotted via COMEDK Counselling.

COMEDK Architecture Counselling Process 2018

Document Verification: The candidates selected for admission counseling will have to bring all the documents uploaded during the counseling application process for verification. 

The candidate has to bring the Valid Original NATA scorecard along with 2 self-attested photocopies of the same.

Return of the Fee

Fee paid for accepting the architecture seat will be refunded if candidate surrenders the seat during surrender period as mentioned in the counseling schedule for architecture post round 1 allotment.

COMEDK will not conduct any entrance test for the BArch Admissions, Candidates will have to appear in the National Aptitude test for Architecture 2018. NATA 2018 Exam is in English Languages and is divided into two parts that are the Drawing Test and Aesthetic Sensitivity Test. Applicants have to score minimum 80 marks to be eligible for the COMEDK Counselling.

Part A: 90 Minutes

Part B: It is a 90 minutes exam, where the candidate has to attempt two questions.
