Shiv Nadar University UG Admission 2018 - SNUSAT Result Announced

SNU Admission Result 2018 has been declared on 14 June 2018 for 1^st Round of B.Tech Program. The SNU Admission Result 2018 is in the form of a merit list in which the names of the selected students have been mentioned along with their application ID. The SNU Admission Result 2018 for 2^nd Round is expected to be released on 2 July 2018. The students can check if their name is present in the merit list using the link provided below.

The admission in SNU is given on the basis of the marks scored by a candidate in Class 12^th, SNUSAT, APT and JEE Mains. Various information sessions are conducted by Shiv Nadar University in cities across India in order to clear all the doubts of students and parents regarding the course and admissions.

SNUSAT Result 2018 (Announced)

The result for SNUSAT 2018 for 1^st Round of B.Tech Program has been declared on 14 June 2018. The students can check the merit list to check if they are selected by using the link provided below. A student is selected on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12, JEE Mains, SNUSAT and APT. The result of 2^nd round is expected to be released on 2 July 2018. The application process for the Shiv Nadar University for the admission into B.Tech, BA, BSc and BMS course is started on 1 April 2018 and the candidates willing to seek admission should fill the application form on or before the due date.

The candidates must read the instructions very carefully before filling the Online Application Form. The candidates filling the application form are also suggested to ensure their eligibility before filling the application form.

The candidates can fill the Shiv Nadar University Application Form through online mode. To fill the application form, the candidates need to register themselves first by entering their name, email id, contact number, date of birth and selection of the program.

Submission of Shiv Nadar University Application Form

The candidates filling the application form are advised to check the details of the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form.

The candidates who are paying the application fee through demand draft. Such candidates need to send the Demand Draft to the following address before the prescribed deadline:

The candidates need to pay application fee of Rs 1,900 per subject of Preference in the Online Application form. The candidates have to pay the application fee against the Shiv Nadar application form only once. The course fee structure for the B.Tech, B.Sc & BA/ BMS is given in the table below.

Shiv Nadar University Fee Structure

The total fee is inclusive of Admission Fee, Hostel Fees, Mess Charges as well as the Laundry Charges. The course fee for the different courses is given separately below.

Shiv Nadar University Scholarship

Shiv Nadar University offers generous scholarships covering part/ full expenses are also available for students enrolled in Undergraduate programs. The University mainly gives three scholarships covering the tuition fee, which are: 

B.Tech

• Scholarship A - Rs 8,46,000
• Scholarship B - Rs 6,58,000
• Scholarship C - Rs 4,70,000

B.Sc & BA

• Scholarship D - Rs 6,00,000
• Scholarship E - Rs 4,80,000
• Scholarship F - Rs 3,00,000

BMS

• Scholarship G - Rs 5,40,000
• Scholarship H - Rs 3,00,000
• Scholarship K - Rs 4,87,500

The selection of the candidates will be done by the university. Therefore, the university has prepared the stages to do the selection to ease the process. Selection to Shiv Nadar University Undergraduate program will be based on an amalgamation score of class 12 examinations of the candidates, SNUSAT and relevant APT. The three of the stages are mentioned below.

Shiva Nadar University Selection Process - Criteria

STAGE 1: Eligibility based on Class 12 scores as defined in the section. 

STAGE 2: Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT) - A combined three-hour test to be administered in more than 100 Pearson VUE test centres across India helping every aspirant to participate in the process. 

STAGE 3: Review of Application Form for the candidate’s aspiration in life and the ability to be a stakeholder at Shiv Nadar University.

Shiv Nadar University looking for the following in candidates

• Adaptation of knowledge of subjects studied at school.
• Candidates need to fulfill basic eligibility criteria to apply.
• The measure of proficiency in the language
• Ability to apply mind to simple problems, data interpretation, logical and abstract reasoning.
• Subject knowledge required for specific programs.
• Assessment of ability to contribute to and learn in Shiv Nadar University environment.

There will be two test to be conducted i.e SNUSAT and APT. SNUSAT test is applicable to all Courses whereas APT will be specific to the course the candidate has applied for, simply stating, the sections and subjects covered in APT will be different for every course. The pattern of both the test is mentioned below.

Candidate must note that if any of his/her course preferences are mapped to a different APT then the candidate is required to take the additional 1 hour APT(s). However, there is no need to repeat SNUSAT. However if the same APT serves all the Programs that you have selected, no additional APT is required.

Shiv Nadar University (SNUSAT - Scholastic Aptitude Test)

• The test is same for all the courses
• Test Duration- 2 hours
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Question + Essay Writing
• Essay has to be typed on the computer

Academic Proficiency Test (APT)

This test will be specific to course the candidate has applied for, simply stating, the sections and subjects covered in APT will be different for every course. 

• Duration of Exam - 1 hour
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Question + Critical Writing.
• Critical Writing Part of the exam has to be typed on the computer
