DAVUET - DAV University Jalandhar Admission 2018

DAVUET - DAV University Jalandhar Admission 2018 process will be started with the releasing of the admission schedule on the official website of DAV University. DAV University Jalandhar will conduct DAVUET - DAV University Jalandhar Admission 2018 for admission into B.Tech and B.Sc Courses. DAVUET is an Entrance cum Scholarship Test, DAVCET will be conducted in the last week of April 2018. Admission in these courses will be based on DAVUET Merit list and the seats that will be left vacant after counselling will be filled on the basis of JEE Main 2018.

DAV University is established in 2013 and is a Research University founded by DAV trust in Jalandhar, Punjab. Candidates seeking admission to courses in engineering, science need to appear in DAVUET 2018. The last date to apply for DAV University undergraduate entrance test is in the first week of April 2018.

DAVUET 2018 Dates

Time schedule of DAVUET 2018

• For candidates appearing in three subjects (PCM or PCB): 11.00 AM-12.30 PM
• For candidates appearing in four subjects (PCMB): 11.00 AM-01.00 PM

• Candidates who have appeared or appearing in their final qualifying 10+2 examination are eligible to apply for DAV UET 2018.
• A candidate who has passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55%. Relaxation of 5% will be given to SC candidates.
• Candidates having a compartment in 10+2 examination at the time of admission will not be eligible for admission to any course.

Combinations of Subjects in DAVUET 2018 for Admission to different courses

 
Candidates who have studied PCMB in 10+1 and 10+2 are eligible for the merit list of both B.Tech and BSc.

DAV UET application form will be available on the official website of DAV university and at the Office of Principal of the opted examination Center. The candidates seeking admission in DAV University can fill in the application form before the due date by following the steps given below:

• STEP 1: Candidate must fill in the online application form.
• STEP 2: Get the printout of filled in application form, admit card and Attendance Slip.  
• STEP 3: Paste/affix a recent passport size photograph in the space provided.
• STEP 4: Sign of the required spaces.
• STEP 5: Admit card has to be attested by the Principal of the school or examination centre.
• STEP 6: DAVUET application form has to be submitted to the exam centre selected by the candidate at the time of filling the application form. Candidate can either submit DAVUET application form by hand or by registered post/speed post/courier.

• Candidate can pay DAV Application fee in two ways:

  • By Cash: Candidate can pay the application fee in Cash at the Opted Examination Center.
  • By Multicity Cheque or Demand Draft
    • The Multicity cheque or Demand Draft of Rs 200 has to be drawn in favor of  “Principal, ………………..”, (fill in respective examination centre) payable at the respective

If DAV University is selected as a test centre then the Multicity Cheque or Demand Draft of Rs. 200 will be drawn in favor of Registrar, DAV University, Jalandhar. Candidate must write his/her name, address and mobile number on the back side of the multicity cheque or Demand Draft. Candidate must note that they need to deposit the application fee on or before the due date.

Application Submission

The candidate has to submit the application form at the test centre he/she has opted while filling the application form. Application form can either be submitted by hand or can be sent by registered post/courier/speed post. The filled application form has to be sent to the address given below:

DAVUET Admit Card 2018

Admit card ones generated must be kept safely be the candidate. Candidates are advised to carefully examine all the details on the admit card. Any discrepancy must be brought to the immediate notice of the Admission coordinator of the respective Exam centre. Admit card has to be attested by the Principal of the school or examination centre. Candidate will need their DAVUET Admit card at the time of entrance exam, counselling and admission.

All category candidates have to make payment of the DAVUET application form of Rs. 200. The candidates can pay Application fee either in Cash, Multicity Cheque or Demand Draft.

DAV University Jalandhar fee structure

DAVUET result will be declared in the first week of May 2018 and it will be available on the DAV University website. There will be No provision of Revaluation and recheck of the DAVUET Result.

DAV University Counselling

DAV Counselling for the shortlisted candidates will be done on the basis of DAVUET result. It will be tentatively conducted on 30 May to 10 June 2018. Confirm date and time of counselling will be declared soon.

Counselling letters of the eligible candidates will be available on the official website of DAV University. The candidate has to download and take a printout of his/her counselling letter and appear for counselling as per the schedule.

On confirmation of the seat and acceptance of the branch allotted, the selected candidate has to deposit the fee specified in the call letter of counselling.

Documents to be produced at the time of counselling:

• Counselling Letter.
• DAVUET 2018 Admit Card.
• Class 10 Marks sheet.
• Original or Provisional Marks Sheet of the Qualifying examination (Class 12)
• A Valid Identity proof
• Three passport size photographs
• Any other document and the specified fee in the Call Letter of Counseling.

DAV University Scholarships

The scholarship will be distributed to the Top rankers of DAV CET 2018. Only top merit holders who take admission in DAV University, Jalandhar will be awarded the scholarship.

• DAVUET will be a multiple choice question paper. Each question will have four options, out of which candidate has to select the right one.
• DAVUET question paper will be divided into four sections. The candidate opting for PCM has to attempt Section A, B and C. The candidates appearing for PCB must attempt Sections A, B and D. 
• Marking Scheme: There will be negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

DAV University Seats

Candidates appeared in JEE Main 2018 will also be considered for engineering branches for seats left vacant after the counselling.

DAVUET Exam Centers
