Chandigarh College of Architecture admission 2018, Chandigarh College of Architecture admission to B.Arch Programme for the academic session 2018-19 will be announced shortly and admission will be based on JEE Main 2018 Paper 2 Score, Marks scored in Class 12 and will be done through JAC Chandigarh Counselling. Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) is affiliated to the Panjab University in the Faculty of Design and Fine Arts. The College is inside the campus of PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh

Chandigarh College of Architecture was established in 1961 to offer a five-year program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Architecture and is ranked amongst the Top Architecture Colleges in India and every year admits around 200 undergraduates. CCA offers undergraduate B.Arch course. The 10-semester course is offered in two tiers:

•  Chandigarh College of Architecture Application Forms can be filled online via JAC Chandigarh Portal.
• Joint Admission Counselling is conducted by JAC Chandigarh to offer admission in B.E. & B. Arch. courses in 5 pioneering Institutes viz.:

• CCA will offer admission to candidates only on the basis of JEE Main Rank prepared by giving 40% weightage to Class 12 Board Exam Marks or other qualifying examination marks and 60% to the JEE Main 2018 score.
• Candidate should have been declared eligible for Central Counselling by the CBSE
• Nationality: Candidates should be an Indian National

Academic Qualifications

• Candidates must have studied English, Physics, Mathematics, any one out of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject) and one more extra subject.
• Candidates must have passed all the above-mentioned subjects individually with 45% aggregate marks n the above subjects taken together. (40% in case of reserved category).
• Candidates who have been placed in the compartment are not eligible for admission for the year 2018-19.

Medical Standards

• Physique: Candidate must be in good mental and body health and free from any physical defect
• Visual Standards: Candidates should have an excellent Visual acuity with or without glasses as given below:

Candidates are required to fill single online application form for admission to DR. SSBUICET, UIET, UIET PUSSGRC, PEC, CCET and CCA for admission to B.Tech and B.Arch Programmes

Two Simple Steps for Admission

Step 1: Candidates have to register/ fill the Online Application form and pay the Counselling Participation Fee of Rs.1200.

Step 2: Candidates will have to fill the choices for the branches and University/Institute as per their preference.

Candidates have to pay the Application cum Registration Fee of Rs 1200. The candidates have to fill a common application form for DR. SSBUICET, UIET, UIET PUSSGRC, PEC, CCET, and CCA.

Chandigarh College of Architecture Fee Structure

At the time of admission, candidates are required to pay the Fee of Rs. 40,000 and the same is payable to Joint Admission Committee JAC 2018.

Candidates will be selected through three rounds of online counselling followed by last Spot round of counselling.

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in JEE Main 2018 (AND)
• Marks obtained in JEE Main 2018 and Class 12 exam  (60% & 40% weightage respectively).
• A normalized score in Class 12 as provided by JEE (60% & 40% weightage respectively).
