SAT 2017, earlier known as Scholastic Assessment Test (and later Scholastic Aptitude Test), is a standardised test which is used as a criterion for eligibility for admission into various Colleges/Universities of U.S and other countries. SAT 2017 is conducted by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) on behalf of the College Board in the USA. The College Board is a mission-driven not-for-profit organisation that connects students to college success and opportunity. The valid passport with name, photo and signature will only be used to make the identification of the candidates. The Sunday testing and testing closer to home options are not available for India.
The exam is conducted four times in a year to check the student’s ability and readiness for admissions into colleges in the USA and other countries. The frequency helps Indian students applying for colleges in the USA to be able to sit for the exam.
