Shri Ramachandra Medical College Admission to MBBS & BDS 2018 will be done on the basis of the NEET 2018 scores as per the order of the honourable Supreme Court of India. Shri Ramachandra University, located in Porur, Chennai invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to MBBS & BDS course in the following constituent colleges:

Students seeking admission to MBBS / BDS course under general category and NRI category in Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai, are informed that as per Hon’ble Supreme Court Order, the admissions to MBBS / BDS course are made through Common Counseling by DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi, in respect of all Deemed Universities in which MBBS / BDS course is conducted.

Nationality: Candidates belonging to any State/Union Territory of India only are eligible

Age: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2018.

Academic Qualification: The candidates appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination in March / April 2018 are also eligible to apply.

MBBS: Candidates must have passed Class 12 examination or its equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology.

BDS: Candidates must have passed Class 12 examination or its equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Botany & Zoology and a pass in English.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

MBBS: Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC) and also pass in English.

BDS: Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Botany & Zoology (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC) and also pass in English.

Eligibility for Entrance Examination: The candidates must secure not less than 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST & OBC) in the medical entrance exam.

NEET score is mandatory for admission to MBBS/BDS course in any government and private medical colleges in India. Therefore, to apply for the admission into MBBS/BDS course, the candidates need to submit their NEET score. The candidates are advised to follow the link below for more details.

The candidates can apply for MBBS and BDS ONLY OFFLINE. There is NO online application Process of filling the Shri Ramachandra University 2018 Application Form.

Guidelines to fill Shri Ramachandra University 2018 Application Form
Shri Ramachandra University 2018 Application Form should be filled by the candidates with utmost care in their own handwriting.

Affix Photographs: Candidates have to affix identical and recently taken passport size colour photographs in the space provided in the Application Form, Admit Card Form and one on the attendance sheet. 
Kindly Note: Candidates should sign on the photographs affixed on the Admit Card Form.

Documents to be sent with the application form: Candidates should enclose only self-attested photocopies of the certificates relating to qualification, community, date of birth and nationality such as Class 10. Mark Statement(s), Transfer Certificate etc.

Demand Draft: Candidates have to enclose a demand draft for Rs. 1000 along with the Application Form. Demand Draft of Rs. 1000 should be drawn in favour of “Sri Ramachandra University” payable at Chennai towards the application and examination fee

Candidates will be selected on the basis NEET Percentile Scores and All India Overall Rank. All the selected students will be called for the counselling session.

Sri Ramchandra University Prospectus

• Duration: 3 hours duration
• Total Questions: 180 multiple choice questions in English.
• It will be maximum 100 marks examination in which all questions carry equal marks.
• There will be no negative marking.
• Syllabus: All India Entrance Examination will be based on the H.S.C. (+2) syllabus followed by major H.S.C. (+2) Boards/Universities.
