ISI Admission 2019 will be based on Indian Statistical Institute Entrance Exam conducted by the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI). ISI is the premier institute of statistical research in India established in 1931 and has its headquarters in Kolkata. The Entrance Test is required for ISI Admission 2019 to various undergraduate, postgraduate and Diploma Courses which are listed below. There are four centres of ISI located in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Tezpur. Teaching activities are mainly undertaken in Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Online Application: The online application will start from 5 February 2019. Candidates in India can apply online through the official website or by following the link given below this page. The applicant must have access to the Internet, an email account, acrobat reader and need to have a digital copy of his/her photo and signature in appropriate format and size.
The candidate who has applied for the B Stat (Hons) can switch to B Math (H) or vice-versa between March and April 2019. To do so the candidate will have to inform the Dean of Studies of their decisions either in writing or through an e-mail to admissionsupport@isical.ac.in.
ISI Admit Card will be available for download from 9 April 2019 for the candidates who have successfully submitted their application form with the required fee. They will be required to take a printout of the admit card and bring along on the exam day. ISI will also notify on the e-mail about the generation of the admit card, however, it is advisable for the candidates to keep a regular check for the same. Applicants have to pay the required application fee at the time of the submission of the application form for the admission to the Indian Statistical Institute. Applicants paying the application fee via bank in cash will have to pay Rs 60 Extra as processing charges.

Selection of candidates is based on merit as judged by their performance in written tests and interviews conducted by the Institute. There will be due considerations for the reserved categories. The selection will be merit-based depending upon their performances in selection stages. The decision of ISI in all admission related matters will be final. Finally, Applicants must note that their selections will be based on the performances of the following parameters.
ISI admission 2019 - Selection Criteria
B.Stat. And B.Maths Paper will have both Objective and subjective type questions on their entrance tests. As per the ISI Exam Pattern, the Questions will only be on Mathematics Subject and questions would not be asked from other subjects.
ISI Placement Committee in Kolkata arranges campus interviews for all the students (of all campuses). B Stat (Hons), B Math (Hons) are organised at the Delhi as well as Bengaluru Centres. The students get enormous opportunities to join research programs in India as well as in other countries. ISI passed-out students are also placed in attractive positions in the government and industry departments.

Indian statistical institute offers various courses for UG, PG, JRF admission. Each course has its separate admission process. The candidates should go through ISI Eligibility criteria before applying for ISI Admission 2019.
Successful completion of Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects of study at 10+ 2 level.
*Eligible Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) Awardees of any previous year need not sit for the written entrance exam. Such candidates would be directly called for interview but are required to apply in the prescribed application form like all other candidates.
