COMEDK 2016, 'Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka' is for admission to various undergraduate engineering, MBBS, BDS courses in member participating institutions for the academic session 2016-17. It is for admission into the private quota seats of the participating colleges.
COMEDK cancelled its medical UG Entrance Test (COMEDK UGE) originally proposed on May 8, 2016. But after the order passed by Honorable Supreme Court of India, the admission to MBBS and BDS will be based on National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET Score.
Latest Update: COMEDK counselling schedule 2016 for special rounds has been released. The counselling will be held for Medical seats on September 30, 2016. Candidates can check their Rank, time of the counselling towards the end of this page.
As per the latest notification, the MBBS and BDS counselling which was scheduled on September 9 and ten is postponed by one day. The change in dates is due to the reported Bundh by Kannada and Farmer organisations for Friday i.e. September 9, 2016. The Counselling Schedule for September 8, remains the same.
COMEDK Counselling Merit Card for Medical/Dental counselling is available from September 6, 2016, the candidates are required to log-in to get their Merit Card.
COMEDK MBBS and BDS Provisional Merit List has been published on the official website of COMEDK. A total of 45,651 applications has been received and a provisional Merit List of the candidates has been prepared. The candidates who have any objections regarding the merit list can submit their objection till September 3, 2016. The details in given towards the end of this page.

COMEDK UGET Engineering Admission
COMEDK UGET for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses was conducted keeping in mind the ‘triple test criteria’ of being fair, transparent and non-exploitative so as to ensure merit-based admissions through a single common entrance test followed by centralised counselling.

Domicile: COMEDK 2016 is open to all the eligible students in the country and not only for the students of Karnataka. Students from all recognised boards can apply for the entrance exam.
Age Limit: The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2016 of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course
Academic Qualification
NEET Percentile : The General Merit candidates must secure a minimum of 50% percentile (40 percentile in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates) in aggregate in PCB subjects in NEET UG 2016 conducted by CBSE.
NOTE: The candidates must note that the lower percentage of marks for SC/ST/OBC is only for the eligibility purpose and there are no reservation quotas for these categories.
The NEET score is mandatory for admission to MBBS/BDS course in any government and private medical colleges in India. Therefore, to apply for the admission into MBBS/BDS course, the candidates need to submit their NEET score. The candidates who have not applied for the NEET yet can apply for the same by following the link below
The candidates who have already registered themselves at COMEDK UGET 2016 need to register again for COMEDK Counselling by paying a counselling fee of Rs 600. COMEDK Counselling Application Process has begun from August 18, 2016.
The last date to submit the Online Application form is August 28, 2016, till 11:59 PM. The candidates who have qualified NEET with the required percentile must follow the following steps to apply for COMEDK Counselling:
STEP 1: To Apply for COMEDK MBBS/BDS Counselling the candidate has to Register on the COMEDK official website using the registration link. The candidates who have already registered can login using their "User ID" and "Password".
STEP 2: Fill the Online Application Form by giving Personal Details, Category Details and Qualification Details (including NEET Score).
STEP 3: Upload the Documents: The candidate has to Upload the scanned copies of;
STEP 4: Pay the Application Fee: COMENDK Application Fee has to be paid online. Candidate can pay the application fee using Net Banking or Credit card/Debit Card.
Candidates need to submit Online the duly filled in COMEDK Application form by uploading the NEET details. Once the payment is the candidate can re-login to check the status of his/her application form. The status will be available on top of the application form.
