JEE Advanced 2018 - The result of JEE Advanced 2018 has been declared on 10 June 2018. IIT Kanpur has released JEE Advanced result online and a link to access the same is provided here. To check IIT JEE Advanced result, candidates are required to enter their exam registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address. Along with the result, JEE Advanced cut off scores and the final answer keys are also available. Test takers must make sure that they qualify the minimum JEE Advanced 2018 cut off score to get shortlisted for the counselling rounds. JEE advanced 2018 is a gateway for the candidates to secure their admissions into various IITs. The entrance test was held on 20 May 2018 across 573 cities. A total of 15,7496 and 15,5091 candidates appeared for JEE Advanced Paper 1 and 2 respectively. JoSAA counselling will start from 15 June 2018. JEE Advanced 2018 Selection Process
The admission of a candidate is based on the performance performed in JEE Advanced 2018. Candidates who will perform well in the entrance exam will be able to get admission into various bachelor’s degree programs in IITs and Indian School of Mines (ISM Dhanbad) along with other reputed engineering institutes. Candidates will get all the details related to JEE Advanced result and counselling.
Candidates will be selected for admissions on the basis of AIR (All India Ranks) which will be calculated on the basis of their JEE advanced 2018 scores. JEE advanced 2018 result has been declared on 10 June, Sunday. Candidates must score at least 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate in order to be in the common merit list.

Total number of Candidates appeared in JEE Advanced
The data states the total number of candidates who have appeared in JEE advanced exam. The total number of candidates appeared in the Paper 1 exam are 157496 and the total number of candidates appeared in Paper 2 are 155091. The question paper for JEE Advanced 2018 has been released for Paper 1 and 2. The exam was conducted in online mode and the question paper was made available the next day of the exam by IIT Kanpur.

Only JEE Mains (Paper 1) qualified candidates will be eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced Exam 2018 if they have secured a rank lower than 2,24,000 in all categories. Listed below are the 5 eligibility criterions namely A, B, C, D and E which are to be satisfied by the candidate after which they can successfully register for the JEE Advance Exam to be conducted on 20 May 2018.
Applicants must be in the top 2,24,000 students which include the students from all categories and must have scored positive marks in JEE Mains 2018. The category-wise distribution of the top 2,24,000 students with their reservation allowance is defined in the table given below. 3% reservation is given directly to the PwD candidates from each of the categories horizontally.

Seven Steps to apply Online for JEE Advanced 2018
After filling up the application form, the candidates are suggested to submit the form in order to complete the application process. However, before the final submission of the form, it is prior responsibilities of the candidates to ensure that the details filled by them are correct in the form. Once the form gets submitted, the candidates should keep at least two printout copies of the application form with them for future reference.
Candidate can download JEE Advanced Admit Card from 14 to 20 May 2018. A print out of downloaded JEE Advanced Admit card should be produced at the time of the exam. Original Admit card will be issued to the candidates at the time of Paper 1 examination.

The mock test for JEE Advanced 2018 is now available. The candidates who are appearing in the exam this year can appear for the mock test. Attempting the mock tests will help the candidates to get the similar impression as of real test and appearing in the mock test will also help the candidates to hone their performance. Designated JEE Advanced Participating Institutes are the engineering colleges that will grant admissions to undergraduate programmes on the basis of candidates’ JEE Advanced rank. Reservation of Seats in JEE Advanced 2018
Candidates who want to join B.Arch courses will have to appear in Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) which will be conducted in the month of June 2018. AAT is for admission into B.Arch. course available at IIT Kharagpur & IIT Roorkee.
Architecture Aptitude Test can be taken by only those candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2018 & JEE Advanced 2018. Architecture Aptitude Test Registration is done after the declaration of JEE Advanced result and students have to give their preference for appearing in Architecture Aptitude Test at the time of filling the application form.
