Times Family Quiz 2018 is a live quiz game for school students and their parents to take part in a competitive environment and fostering the family bond. TOI Family Quiz will be conducted in December 2018 by Times of India in partnership with Resonance Eduventures Ltd. Aspirants need to appear in stage 1 i.e. Introduction round in which general awareness quiz will be held. Candidates from Class 6 to 12 are eligible to appear for Times Family Quiz 2018. The live quiz will be conducted for Junior and Senior level aspirants. The second stage in TOI Family Quiz 2018 is City round. Only the interested participants can appear for ReoStart round. ResoStart will be conducted at 101 cities and 5 zones. In the third stage, the live Times Family Quiz 2018 will be conducted for selected participants and their parent. The final felicitation of winners of Times Family Quiz will be held in December 2018. The registration of Times Family Quiz 2018 will be done in stage 1 with an amount of Rs. 250 paid in prescribed modes. Times Family Quiz Eligibility Criteria 2018

Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria of Times Family Quiz 2018 to check whether they are eligible or not. The further eligibility conditions which must be fulfilled by aspirants are:

• Aspirant from Class 6 to 12 are considered eligible to appear for Times Family Quiz
• Candidates from Class 6 to 8 will participate in junior level, while students from Class 9 to 12 will participate in senior level
• Students from Class 11 and 12 with Science (Biology and Mathematics) can participate for TOI Family Quiz 2018

Times Family Quiz Selection Procedure

The format of Times Family Quiz 2018 is divided into three stages, which are:

• Stage 1: Introduction

The Introduction round, commonly known as qualifier round is a first level quiz in a form of a written test that happens in the school with students of Class 6 to 12. Students need to register and then take the online test, where one of the parents is also actively involved as a team with the student.

• Stage 2: City round

Candidates who took the qualifier round in Introduction stage can appear for City round, which is also known as STaRT round. Registration of interested students to take the Student Talent Reward Test (STaRT) test begins simultaneously. It is conducted by Resonance Eduventures Ltd. ResoStart 2018 will be held on 30 September, 14 and 28 October 2018 and enables the student to test his/her academic proficiency. ResoStart is being conducted for the 8th consecutive years.

• Stage 3: Regional round

Once the result of both, first and second stages are compiled, 6 shortlisted teams (student and a parent) from junior and senior level will be called invited to compete in a live quiz game which is Time Family Quiz 2018. The quiz will be conducted by Quiz master Gaurav Yadav who has won many scholarships.

• Stage 4: Felicitation round

After all the stages are over, the final felicitation programme will be conducted in December 2018. The final Times Family Quiz 2018 felicitation programme will recognize the winning students along with their family members in a grand ceremony that will be held across the zonal headquarters.

Times Family Quiz 2018 Prizes

As a key patron of this programme, Times Family Quiz also promises to reward about 5000 cash prizes of worth Rs. 1.40 crore to the deserving students. The National Level Topper will be awarded Rs. 50,000 for Class 6 to 9 and Rs. 75,000 for Class 10 to 12. First Runners-up will win a cash prize of Rs. 35,000 for Class 6 to 9, while for Class 10 to 12, the cash prize is of Rs. 51,000. Also, the superlative top 20 performers of Times Family Quiz 2018 will get a chance for a grand exclusive five days trip to NASA.
