The Indus Entrepreneurs, popularly known as TiE has introduced a global program ‘TYE’ (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) that will lead the younger generation to stretch their imagination, have an incredible learning experience and develop & discover entrepreneurship ideas and skills.

About TiE Young Entrepreneurs- TYE Global Program

The tiE is a global not-for-profit organization and is employed for the advancement of entrepreneurship as well as fostering entrepreneurship among the youth at an early age. TiE Global has introduced a 2 monthly classroom course under the TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) program for students of classes 9-12, who wish to get an overview about how to start a business or enter into a business venture.

During the classroom sessions of the TYE program, students will be taught the skills required to set up & run their own business ventures. The complete course structure has been prepared in a way such that students can learn & grasp Entrepreneurship & Leadership skills at a young age.  Classroom lectures will be delivered by professionals and successful entrepreneurs with years of industry experience. Also, students will receive an exclusive session on 'Leadership & Team Building by’ "The Global Education and Leadership Foundation" (tGELF).

• Enrolments are open till October 2014.
• Classes for TYE will begin in November 2014.
• Classes will be conducted at IIT Delhi on Sundays (1/2 day)
• Case Studies offered will be conducted by Business School Professors.

• To attend classes, students have to enrol themselves by paying Rs. 7,500 as the program fee inclusive of taxes, course material, boot camp and refreshments.

TYE Business Plan Competition

Business Plan- Students attending the sessions have to brainstorm for a business idea and prepare a plan for a Business Plan Competition under the guidance of an assigned mentor who is a CEO/ senior professional from the industry. And, the winning team of the TYE program will represent India in the TYE Global competition in the USA.

• Students who enrol on the TYE program will also get an opportunity to participate in the TYE Business plan competition.
• Students will participate by forming teams.

Award for Winners of TYE Global Program 

• Discounted Air Tickets along with Cash Award of Rs 1,40,000 from Lufthansa Airlines.
• Winners of TYE Global will also receive $15000 worth of cash and kind awards as well.

•  The TYE Felicitation/ Orientation Program will be held on July 19, 2015

TYE Global 2014

In 2014, the TYE program took place in 17 locations around the world and received rave reviews. This International Program has touched the lives of many people- from students to mentors/coaches, parents, educators, charter members and their families and made them believe that participation of their wards in the TYE Program may lead to the birth of the next Big Business Idea out of their own child.

Schools’ participation in TYE Global Program

The TYE program was initiated in 2005 by the TiE Boston chapter and to date, over 140 students have participated in it from over 25 local schools across Delhi/NCR. Students from most of the reputed and renowned schools of Delhi have participated in the TYE program. TYE provides students with an opportunity to ignite their enterprising views & ideas and to have the experience of a lifetime.
