Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is a scholarship program to provide aid and assistance to the poor and meritorious students of West Bengal pursuing higher studies. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Renewal Eligibility

Candidates getting admission in the next higher class after passing in the first attempt are eligible to claim Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Renewal Application. In the case of semester system, Candidate can claim scholarship renewal only if he/she has cleared both the Semester 1 & Semester 2 examination in the first attempt.  The minimum percentage required for claiming Renewal of the scholarship is given in the table below:

Apply Online for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Renewal

Step 1: Register here - Go through the link given above and click on Register here

Step 2: Apply for Renewal Application - Choose appropriate Directorate and then click on Apply for Renewal Application

Step 3: Bank Details - Candidate has to enter their bank details. Choose year and enter your bank account number in which your previous scholarship was credited. Click on Renewal Authentication.

Step 4: Registration Form - After entering bank details, candidate is required to fill the basic details in the Scholarship Registration form. After filling the registration form, click on Register

Step 5: Login Details - After successful registration, your applicant Id will be generated. Please login with this applicant ID and password at the login page to fill the scholarship application.

Step 6: Basic Detail Form - After successful, Click on Edit Application to continue the application process. Candidate will have to fill the Basic Details Form and upload photograph and signature.

Step 7: Personal Details Form - After successful submission of Basic Details form, Candidate will have to fill the Personal Details Form. After filling the mandatory details, Click on Save & Continue button.

Step 8: Uploading Documents – Candidate is required to upload the following scanned documents -

• Copy of Mark sheet of last qualifying examination (in case of semester examination system, year wise semester Mark sheets)
• First page of bank passbook and the leave of the passbook in which the last year scholarship was credited
• Admission receipt for the promotion to the next higher class

Step 9: Finalize Application - After Application Submission, a success message will be shown. Download the application details and click on Finalize Application to complete the application process.

Step 10: Head of the Institution Verification Certificate - After finalization, click on download Head of the Institution Verification Certificate. Get the certificate attested with Signature and Official Seal of concerned Head of the Institution. After that, Candidate is required to upload the scanned copy of the attested certificate for final submission of the application.
