Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme is provided to the dependent wards of Ex-Servicemen/ Ex-Coast Guard personnel and their widows to encourage their higher technical and professional education. Steps to fill the PM Scholarship Application Form

The detailed steps to fill the PM Scholarship Application Form are given below:

• Step 1: Visit the official website or click on the link to apply for the PM Scholarship.
• Step 2: Get registered to the website.
• Step 3: Fill up all the details in the boxes in the given sections i.e. Part-1 and Part-2.
• Step 4: After the successful registration, click on the activation link.
• Step 5: Now enter login id and password and fill all the boxes appear in the window in Part-1, Part-2, and Part-3.
• Step 6: Now scan upload the passport size photograph and all the required documents and click on upload button.
• Step 7: Now, Save and Forward. Take print of the same for further use.

All the applicants are required to keep their required relevant documents ready before applying for the PM Scholarship 2019-20. They are also required to note that all the original documents have to be scanned and uploaded.

Pm Scholarship Important Documents to be uploaded in online Application

1. Photograph of ESM / Widow / Orphan
2. Details of Bank Account i.e. Bank Account Number, Branch Name, IFSC Code etc.
3. Ex-Servicemen/ Ex-Coast Guard Certificate
4. Bonafide Certificate filled up correctly and signed by the Vice Chancellor/ Principal/ Vice Principal/ Dean/ Associate Dean/ Registrar/ Deputy Registrar/ Director/ Deputy Director of the Institute / College.
5. Certificate from the candidate’s bank stating that Aadhaar Card of the student is linked with their bank account number.
6. Matriculation Certificate for the verifying of the Date of Birth.
7. Minimum Educational Qualification certificate as applicable.
8. Class 12 Mark sheet
9. Graduation Mark sheets of 3 years
10. Diploma Mark sheets of all semesters 
11. The first page of Bank Pass Book (PNB or SBI only) clearly showing name and A/c Number of Candidate.
12. Aadhaar Card of the candidates.
13. PPO and the following supporting documents in case of Category 1, 5 and 6:

PM Scholarship Eligibility

All the aspirants are suggested to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria before start filling up the PM Scholarship 2019-20 Application form. Students can also check the list of eligible courses for PM scholarship

• The students who are enrolled in the first year (except Lateral Entry & Integrated course) are only eligible to apply for Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme. Students must apply online on the official website of KSB (Kendriya Sainik Board) www.ksb.gov.in. Students should have scored at least 60% or above in Minimum Educational Qualification i.e. 10+2/ Diploma/ Graduation.
• Students who are studying in Second and subsequent years are not eligible to apply for the scholarship. The students of integrated courses, where the first portion is academic and the second portion is integrated as a professional course, in such cases student need to apply for the scholarship on taking admission.
• Students who are Dependent Wards/ Widows of Ex-Servicemen and Ex-Coast Guard personnel are eligible.
• The Wards of Civilians including Para-Military Personnel are NOT ELIGIBLE for PM Scholarship Scheme.

PM Scholarship Merit List

The merit list will be finalized by the nominated Board of Officers at Kendriya Sainik Board and will be forwarded to the Rajya Sainik Board /Coast Guard Headquarter. The PM Scholarship merit list of selected candidates will also be uploaded on the official website of website Kendriya Sainik Board.
