NTSE OMR Sheet aims to minimise the errors while evaluating the National Talent Search Examination Stage 2. The NTSE OMR sheet has been so designed in such a manner so that these can be read by the OMR software. The Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets are being widely used for various entrance exams and competitive exams. The students who have passed the NTSE Stage 1 exam this year and the Indian students studying abroad who have applied for the exam will appear for the NTSE Stage 2 exam on 16 June 2019. This year, there will be only two subjects for NTSE Stage 2, viz. Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). One subject Language Test has been eliminated from this year. All the candidates must be busy in preparing too hard to pass the NTSE Stage 2 exam. At the same time, they all would like to practise to write answers on OMR Sheet of NTSE so as to avoid any problems while doing it on the exam day. How to Download NTSE OMR Sheet for practice?
OMR Sheet of NTSE can be used by the students to practice tests to make them well-versed in writing answers on it. The steps to download the NTSE OMR Sheet have been provided below:
- Step 1: First of all, download the OMR Sheet of NTSE Stage 2, the screenshot of which has been provided below.
- Step 2: Now using inkjet or laser printer, take a printout in A4 size sheet so as to practice filling the sheet.
- Step 3: Start practising for the exam.

How to fill the NTSE OMR Sheet?
We have provided some guidelines to help the candidates appearing for the NTSE Stage 2 to be comfortable in filling the OMR Sheet of NTSE Stage 2 for both MAT and SAT papers:
- Candidates have to use only black or blue ballpoint pen while filling the OMR sheet for both MAT and SAT papers.
Filling in the Personal Details in the OMR Sheet
- If a candidate belongs to SC/ST or disabled categories, he/she has to deposit a certificate to that effect at the time of the exam.
- Now, a candidate has to fill in his/her name in capital letters in each box.
- Now, they have to fill in the following in the spaces provided first and fill in each circle with the numbers (from 0 to 9 in each column and row, whichever applicable): test booklet no. as mentioned in the NTSE OMR Sheet, Roll No., Date of Birth, Caste/Category and Disability Status.

After filling in all the details as mentioned below, candidates will be provided with the question paper. Now, depending upon the correct option (Option No. 1, 2, 3 or 4), they will have to fill the circle no. in the question numbers one after another.

Note: 1. Scholastic Aptitude Test consists of 40 marks each from Science and Social Science and 20 marks from Maths.
Changes made in NTSE Stage 2 Exam Pattern from 2018 onwards
The following changes have been made in the exam pattern of NTSE Stage 2 from this year:
- From this year onwards, Language Test has been eliminated from the NTSE Stage 2 exam.
- From this year onwards, the practice of deducting 1/3 marks for each wrong answer, has been done away. So there is no negative marking in NTSE Stage 2
- Now, the time duration for each question in both the papers has been increased from 90 minutes to 120 minutes.
- There will be 100 questions each in both the sections. Since the LCT paper has been eliminated from this year onwards, the LCT marks will be added to MAT.
- The reporting time has been changed from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- To obtain merit in both MAT and SAT, candidates’ total marks in both in MAT and SAT will be considered, separately.
- Candidates from General category must secure 40% in each paper to qualify.
- To obtain merit, the candidates from SC, ST, and Physically handicapped categories must obtain 32% marks in each paper, separately.
