NTSE Himachal Pradesh 2018– The registration is open for NTSE Himachal Pradesh. Candidates can fill NTSE Himachal Pradesh application form by following the link available on this page. National Talent Search Examination is commonly known as NTSE. It has two stages; NTSE Stage 1 and NTSE Stage 2. The qualified students from NTSE Stage 1 Exam to be held on 4 November 2018 in Himachal Pradesh will be eligible to appear in NTSE Stage 2 exam which will be conducted on 12 May 2019. A total of 26 students from Himachal Pradesh will be selected for NTSE Stage 2 Exam. Candidates who qualify NTSE Stage 2 will be awarded NTSE Scholarship from class 11 up to PhD level studies. NTSE Himachal Pradesh 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to fulfil the following criteria to get eligible for NTSE Exam 2018:

• Candidates must be enrolled in class 10
• Candidates must be 18 years old as on 1 July 2018
• Candidates must have passed class 9 with at least 60% in General category & 55% in SC/ST/PCG/OBC
• Candidates who are studying ion NIOS, SOS etc. are also eligible to apply

NTSE Himachal Pradesh: List of Documents required

Candidates are required to attach the following documents with NTSE Application Form 2018:

• Candidates need to attach class 9 mark sheet
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC must attach attested copy of the certificate from SDM/ Tehsildar/ Naib-Tehsildar with the application form
• Candidates belonging to PCG must attach a certificate issued from Chief District Medical Officer

NTSE Himachal Pradesh Application Form Submission

Candidates are required to submit the duly filled NTSE Application Form to the principle of their respective school along with the required documents and prescribed application fee on or before the due date. No application will be accepted after 5 September 2018.

NTSE Himachal Pradesh Selection Process

The selection process has two stages, NTSE Stage 1 and NTSE Stage 2. The qualified candidates from NTSE Stage 1 are eligible for NTSE Stage 2 Exam. A total of 26 students will be selected from the NTSE Stage 1 Exam. NTSE has two exams; Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). Candidates are required to obtain at least 40% for General /OBC categories (32% for SC/ST/ PCG categories) in each test to qualify. Read more about MAT and SAT below.

• The duration of each exam is 2 Hours
