NMMS Himachal Pradesh 2018: The registration for NMMS Himachal Pradesh has been started. Students can apply through the school heads only. National Merit cum Mean Scholarship, commonly known as NMMS, is a National Level Scholarship which is given to the meritorious students for 4 years from class 9 to 12. The scholarship amount is Rs. 12,000 per annum. Candidates need to appear in NMMS Exam which will be held on 4 November 2018 at 40 centres in Himachal Pradesh State. NMMS Himachal Pradesh 2018 Eligibility Criteria

• Students studying in class 8 are only eligible to apply for NMMS Exam 2018
• Students must be enrolled in Govt./Local Body/ Govt-aided-private school
• The family income must not be more than Rs 1,50,000 per annum
• Candidates need to obtain at least 55% in class 8
• Candidates need to obtain at least 55% in class 9 & 11 and at least 60% in class 10 to continue NMMS Scholarship
• 5% relaxation is applicable to reserved category for all classes

NMMS Himachal Pradesh Application Form 2018

NMMS Himachal Pradesh Application Form 2018 is available now. Candidates can apply through the school heads only. The last date to submit the duly filled NMMS 2018 Himachal Pradesh Application Form is 5 September 2018. Eligible candidates can download NMMS Application Form 2018 for Himachal Pradesh and NMMS Application Form 2018 for Himachal Pradesh and submit it to their respective school princip submit it to their respective school principal. NMMS Himachal Pradesh Scholarship Amount

A total of 832 students will be awarded the NMMS Scholarship in Himachal Pradesh. NMMS Scholarship amount has been raised to 12,000 per annum. Earlier, it was 6,000 per annum. NMMS Himachal Pradesh 2018 Merit List

The selection is based on NMMS Merit list which will be prepared after NMMS Exam to be held on 4 November 2018. There are two exams; Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). Candidates are required to obtain at least 40% in each test to qualify. However, for SC/ST categories, the qualifying mark is 32% in each test.
