NEC Admit Card 2017 for 20th Merit Search exam is available for download on the official website of National Educational Council (NEC) and it can also b downloaded from the link given below this page. The NEC Admit Cards are now available for the candidates from 27 March 2017 Onwards. The candidates can download their NEC Admit Card 2017 till April 8, 2017. 20th Merit Scholarship exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 9, 2017.

Candidates can download the admit card by entering their 5 digit Reg. No, their name and the class under which they have applied. Candidates have to enter their 5 digit Registration number, Name and the class to be able to download the NEC Admit Card 2017.
Unable to Download the NEC Admit Card 2017
Candidates must carefully observe the admit card and report immediately if any discrepancies are there pertaining to any information. Guidelines to be followed on NEC Exam Day
- The candidates must reach 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- Candidates must carry their own instruments like pen, pencil, eraser or any such stuff.
- Talking in the examination hall is not allowed.
- If any candidate is found cheating then strict action would be taken and even they can be debarred from the exam.
NEC Exam Pattern 2017
- There is separate Question Paper for each Class.
- Medium of Examination: The Merit Scholarship Exam will be conducted in Hindi/ English
- There are 4 sections in a composite paper carrying 25 marks each
- Questions are the Objective type, except literature, which are Subjective & 1st Qualifying.

NEC Selection Process
- The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of a written test.
- Students who attain 50% marks in literature would be evaluated further
- In all the student needs to score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify.
