KVPY Result 2018: SA, SB, SX Final Selection (Read Analysis)

KVPY Result 2018 Analysis for all categories are given below. KVPY Final Result was declared on 9 April 2018 and this year, 3155 Meritorious Students were finally selected for KVPY Fellowship after clearing two rounds. The first round was Aptitude Test and the other was the Interview round. In Round 1, 4075 students were selected for the interview round. KVPY 2018 Final Rank List was prepared with the combination of marks obtained in Aptitude Test (75% weightage) and Interview round(25% weightage). KVPY Result Analysis

As per previous years trends, 70-80% of the students shortlisted for the interview get selected for the KVPY Fellowship. Similarly, this year 77% of the shortlisted candidates from aptitude round qualified for KVPY Fellowship. In General and OBC category of SX Stream, 90.3% students were selected for KVPY Fellowship for Class 12 whereas 89.2% students were selected in SC/ST category for the same.  Check the KVPY Result Analysis 2018 here.

• KVPY Fellows who opt for the basic science course will only be eligible for the scholarship.
• SX/SB Category fellows scholarship will we effective from 1st August 2018
• SA Category fellows scholarship will be effective from 1st August 2019.

If the SX and SA category Fellows do not join the Basic Science Course, will they be eligible for KVPY Fellowship?

If these students join courses other than basic science course like Engineering, Medical etc. then they will not be eligible for the KVPY Scholarship.

Basic Science Courses are B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Materials Science or Environmental Science.
