JSTSE Syllabus 2019 - Download PDF, Exam Pattern

JSTSE Syllabus 2019 for the Junior Science Talent Search Exam (JSTSE) is based on Class 8 and Class 9 syllabus. JSTSE exam is conducted for the students studying in Class 9. JSTSE is conducted every year in December/January by the Science Branch of Education, Delhi. Through JSTSE exam, 150 scholarships are allotted to the students. The Class 9 students who have secured 65% minimum marks in Class 8 from a recognized school (Government, Government Aided, Public, KV, Navodaya or NDMC) are eligible to apply for Junior Science Talent Search Exam. The students who are willing to apply for the JSTSE exam must check the JSTSE Syllabus.

JSTSE Syllabus 2019 - (Class 9) Important Topics

JSTSE Syllabus General Knowledge  

General Knowledge section is the easy as well as the scoring part of JSTSE Exam. The questions will come from Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Civics, and Economics. In the general knowledge section, the questions will also come from the topics like National Parks, Sanctuaries, Awards, Government Schemes, Cricket and Bollywood. JSTSE Syllabus General Science and Mathematics

In the Second Section, which will be comprised of General Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and Mathematics will include the topics focused on the concepts of Class 8 and 9. The students can prefer NCERT Books to prepare for this section. R. D Sharma and S. Chand can be useful books for the preparation of Mathematics.
