JEE Main Colleges 2020 - List
JEE Main Counselling is for admission into NITs, IIITs, State/Centre funded technical Institutes throughout the country. Apart from the participating institutes, many of the other institutes/ states also offer admission in engineering courses on the basis of JEE Main score. These Institutes accept JEE Main score but conduct their individual counselling for admission. All the participating institutes that do not use the centralised Seat Allocation Process will prepare their own ranking.

JEE Main Colleges 2020 - Admission
Applicants are advised to note that there are some eligibility norms for admission to these JEE Main colleges 2020. These particular NITs, CFTIs, SFI, State Engineering Colleges will participate in the counselling rounds through the Central Seat Allocation Board, and the admission will strictly be based on All India Rank. Also, these candidates are required to obtain at least 75% in their Class 12 board or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12 examination.
When the JEE Main seat allocation rounds start, candidates are required to enter their choices for the branches, programmes and institutions as per the given schedule. As mentioned above, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their ranks. These candidates are required to visit the allotted counselling venue along with the required documents, such as -
- Qualifying exam certificate
- Age
- Category Certificate (If required)
- Disability Certificate (If required), etc.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) set up by the Ministry of Health Resources and Development (MHRD) conducts the counselling session for admission to 77 institutes. JEE Main Colleges 2020 - Eligibility Criteria
Only securing a good rank, aspirants must fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission. As per JEE Main eligibility criteria, candidates have to pass class 12 or equivalent examination with minimum 75% marks for general category (65% for SC/ST candidates) or to be in the top 20 percentile. For admission into B.Tech or B.Arch courses, students must also satisfy the following admission criteria:
- For B.E./B.Tech – Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with subjects Physics and Mathematics as main subjects along with the additional subject from Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
- B.Arch/B.Plan – Aspirants must qualify class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as the main subject.
Note: If a state decides to admit candidates in the state engineering colleges, then the state counselling authority will prepare a separate merit list on the basis of set criteria.

Admission in Delhi Colleges through JEE Main 2020
Basic Eligibility Criteria for colleges in Delhi accepting JEE Main 2020 scores:
- Candidate placed in CBSE merit list based on JEE main Score (60%) and scores in class 12 or other qualifying exams (40%)
- 85% seats are reserved for the students belonging to Delhi region, who have passed their qualifying exam from boards/ Institutes within NCT of Delhi.
- 15% seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to outside Delhi.
- The admission will be on the basis of common counselling known as JAC Delhi Counselling.
Earlier DTU, IIIT Delhi and IGDTUW admitted students on the basis of Common counselling known as JAC Delhi Counselling and from last year, NSIT has also joined the league and for admission 2020-20 these 4 institutes will accept students on the basis of common counselling.
