JEE Advanced Analysis 2018 – On 20 May 2018, IIT Kanpur successfully conducted JEE Advanced across 155 Indian cities and 6 cities abroad. As per students, in JEE Advanced Paper 1, Physics was the toughest while Chemistry and Mathematics were moderate. However, in JEE Advanced Paper 2, Mathematics was the toughest. As per the JEE Advanced analysis by various experts, the overall difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2018 was moderate. As per JEE Advanced paper analysis 2018, there were six questions in the first section, eight questions in second section and four questions in the third section in both the papers. The total marks were 180 and candidates were allotted three hours to complete the test. The maximum marks for each section were 60. JEE Advanced Analysis 2018 – Sectional Analysis (Paper 1)
The data provided below are as per JEE Advanced analysis by various test takers and experts from coaching institutes. More data on JEE Advanced paper analysis 2018 will be provided in this article. In the question booklet, there were three types of questions, which are - single correct answer, multiple correct answers and single digit (Numerical).
Chemistry – Unlike last year, JEE Advanced 2018 had more questions in Chemistry that fell into difficulty moderate level. There were few tough questions which hardly consumed much time.
Physics – As per the JEE Advanced paper analysis by various students, Physics was the toughest among the others. Most questions were calculative and needed more time. Also, for few of the question, candidates must have a clear concept.
Mathematics – Again this year, the difficulty level of Mathematics section was moderate. Majority of the questions were concept based and required facts and formula.
JEE Advanced Exam Analysis 2018 – Sectional Analysis (Paper 2)

Chemistry – In this section, the questions were easier and most topics were based on Class 11 and 12 syllabus. The overall difficulty level of this section is moderate.
Physics – Unlike JEE Advanced Paper 1, the difficulty level of this section was moderate. The questions required concept and didn't consume much time.
Mathematics – This section was the toughest among the others. Most of the questions required long calculations which consumed time.
