All the IHMs are affiliated with the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) located at the PUSA complex in New Delhi. IHMs are governed by NCHMCT which is set up by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. The admission to these institutes takes place through a Common Entrance Test commonly known as NCHMCT JEE.
