HDFC Scholarship Disbursement Rules
Disbursement of HDFC Scholarship will be done through a Demand Draft/Cheque in favour of the educational institute (as mentioned in the application form) which will be sent to the nearest HDFC Bank Branch. On receipt of the demand draft/cheque, an intimation by mail, with a copy to the student will be received by the respective institutes.
Dispatch of Cheque/Draft of HDFC Scholarship
HDFC Scholarship will be dispatched in the form of a cheque/demand draft by 30 October 2018 by the branch whose name was filled in the application form by the student. The bank will contact the student/school/college/university for receiving the cheque/Demand Draft of HDFC Scholarship. Only the selected students will be contacted for receiving HDFC Scholarship.
Post disbursal Formalities related to HDFC Scholarship
Students or the body receiving HDFC Scholarship will need to provide an undertaking to the branch confirming receipt of the scholarship amount. A call may also be made by the branch for verification purposes to the recipient student.
Verification of the recipients after HDFC Scholarship result is announced
If any incorrect information is provided for HDFC Scholarship, then the application of the student will be rejected, and he/she will be debarred from all schemes which will be launched by HDFC Bank in the future.
HDFC Scholarship transfer in case of a change in school/college/university
In case a student changes his/her school/college/university then the HDFC scholarship won't be transferred. Also, the present HDFC Scholarship will be cancelled, and the student will have to re-apply for the scholarship.
Expectations from the recipient of HDFC Scholarship
A recipient of the HDFC Scholarship will have to abide by the following
- He/she shall not get involved in undesirable activities.
- She/he shall maintain University's academic standards.
- She/he shall avoid any activity that involved damage to the institute, breaking of rules of the institute, misbehaviour with teachers or colleagues and damage to the institute's property.
HDFC Scholarship Result 2018 - Second List
HDFC had released a second list of candidates for HDFC Scholarship after the announcement of HDFC Scholarship Result in 2016. However, in 2017, there was no such second list of recipient candidates that was released. Hence it is not certain whether the Second list of candidates for HDFC Scholarship will be released in 2018 or not. The basis on which the Second list is released has not been cleared anywhere but maybe it is released when the number of selected recipients is not as per the expectations, or maybe the number of candidates rejected is too high because of incomplete documentation, and there are very few legitimate recipients of HDFC Scholarship that are left. Candidates are advised not to wait for the second list as the possibility of its release is highly uncertain.
