CGBSE 10th Result – Previous years’ statistics
The following table shows the pass percentage – overall and gender-wise for the last 5 years and total no. of students appeared for the exams. The table reveals that the girls have outperformed the boys throughout the period. In the year 2014 and 2015, there has been some increase in girls', boys' and overall pass percentages from the previous years. However, in 2016, there was a massive dip in it. But in 2017, the pass percentage once again showed an upward trend, which is a good sign. There has been fluctuation in the total no. of students appeared in the CGBSE 10th exams.

In addition to this, last year out of 3.86 Lakh candidates had appeared for the CGBSE Class 10 examination, only around 2 Lakh students passed. The highest marks obtained by Chetan Sharma scoring 98.17% in Class 10. The second highest was of Vinita Patel scoring 97.67%.
