CBSE Sports 2019-20: Calendar, Login, Registration, Website

CBSE Sports 2019 events have been conducted for the school affiliated under independent category at Cluster/Zonal and National level every year. CBSE Sports Calendar 2019-20 for Cluster/Zonal and National level has been released on 19 August 2019 at the website of CBSE sports 2019. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched CBSE Sports website on 4 August 2019. As per the CBSE Sports Calendar 2019-20, CBSE sports events at Cluster/Zonal level will be held from 1 September to 29 October 2019, while, the National level games events will be organized from 27 October to 30 November 2019. CBSE games and sports competitions are being held among various age groups of boys and girls. There are a total of 24 sports included in CBSE games 2019, which are mentioned on this page. CBSE sports registration 2019-20 for schools and students has been over. CBSE Sports Calendar 2019-20 Download PDF

CBSE Sports Calendar 2019-20 has been released on 21 August 2019. Students can check the important schedule of CBSE Sports 2019. CBSE Sports 2019 Zones-wise Distribution

Students can check CBSE Sports 2019 Zone-wise distribution here. This section includes the number of regions covered under each zone/cluster. There are total 8 zones:

1. Far East Zone (FEZ) - This zone is divided into two region clusters – one region cluster includes all the seven sisters, while the second one includes Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal
2. East Zone (EZ) - This cluster zone includes regions of Bihar, Jharkhand and major cities of Uttar Pradesh
3. South Zone (SZ) - The south zone has the highest number of clusters including Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and major cities of Kerala
4. West Zone (WZ) -This zone covers clusters from Madhya Pradesh, Daman, Diu, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Gujarat, Rajasthan
5. North Zone II (NZII) - It has four clusters which include Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Chandigarh
6. North Zone I (NZI) - It has only one cluster. Uttarakhand and Western parts of Uttar Pradesh are included in it
7. Central Zone (CZ) - This only includes one cluster from Delhi
8. Foreign Zone - This contains five clusters from foreign countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

CBSE Sports Registration 2019-20

On the left-hand side of the screen, the CBSE sports online registration and CBSE sports login links have been provided. However, it must be noted that the registration process of CBSE games has been closed. The schools who want to organize any of the event, as well as student/team who wish to participate in the CBSE sports 2019, had to register as per the schedule mentioned above.

For schools to organize CBSE Sports Event

Any school who wish to host any of the competitions of Cluster/Zonal and National level in any of the disciplines can apply through this link. However, the link is not working as the last date for registration is over. The username and password were used are the same as used by the schools for LOC submission for class 10 and 12 examinations. The schools who have registered for organizing an event must have all the facilities benefitting to organize the sports event.

CBSE Grants for organizing an event

CBSE also provides a grant of Rs. 2,00,000 for Cluster/Zonal level competitions and Rs. 3,00,000 for National level competition to the schools for organizing a CBSE sports event. Sports equipment such as shuttle cock, tennis ball, football, volley ball, basketball etc. will be arranged by the organizing schools. They can purchase/hire equipment at their own cost and meet the expenditure out of CBSE grant.

Register a student in CBSE Sports Event

Schools who wanted to sponsor their students/teams for participation in CBSE sports have registered from 25 July to 10 August 2019. In case, a student was appearing for the first time, the school had to ‘register student’ first then, ‘apply for his/her participation’. The schools have used the username and password to register their student for CBSE games 2019 event. For the students who have been already registered from the last year, were not required to register themselves. Their registration number of the previous year can be used for this year as well. However, these aspirants also had to upload their passport size photograph before applying.

CBSE Sports Result 2019

The school organizing a CBSE sports event will declare CBSE Sports 2019 result within 24 hours of the conduct of an event or immediately after the sport event. The publication and declaration of CBSE games result 2019 includes the following procedure:

• Uploading of CBSE Sports Result 2019 – As mentioned earlier, the host school will upload the result of CBSE games 2019. In order to upload CBSE sports result 2019, login using the affiliation number and password. Thereafter, upload the result of CBSE sports result 2019 in the online mode
• View CBSE Games Result 2019 – Once the school will upload the files of CBSE sports result 2019, candidates can check the result in the PDF format for all disciplines

CBSE Games 2019 – Participation at CBSE National Level Sports Events

The participation of winners or runner-ups of Cluster/Zonal level can participate for National level sports as per the following rules:

• Winners and First Runner-ups –The individual/team winners or first runner-ups of the following CBSE sports 2019 events will participate in CBSE nationals in each category and age group separately

5. Skating
6. Swimming
7. Taekwondo
8. Tennis
9. Football girls
10. Chess (2 top teams)
11. Rifle shooting (top 2 teams and 5 individuals)

• Winners only – Only the winners of the following CBSE sports 2019 in the Cluster/Zonal level will participate in nationals:

4. Kabaddi
5. Kho-kho
6. Volleyball
7. Handball
8. Hockey
